I love this gas station. It is so clean. It's very huge and big. The only thing is the restroom you have to wait for a key, which is fine however, sometimes you gotta go potty so bad However, I do love that the stalls for gas is so big I don't know where my photos went, but it was a great place. They don't even have the courtesy of posting the cost out next to the RV Dump. We went in, waited in line, and then we were told they charge $50.00 to use it. According to the hubs, pricing is almost a dollar less than SJ. Another plus, they are open 24 / 7, so restrooms are avail round the clock. Stopped in for the first time today, and I was very impressed. The convenience store is not open 24 hours a day, but the gas pumps are. The gas prices are comparable to other gas stations in the area, the store is very clean, and the people are helpful. The store is your typical convenience store with snacks, drinks, sundries, the like. they also have a deli, but when I was there on a Saturday at 11 AM, it wasn't open. They do have a good selection of beer, wine, a few souvenirs such as shirts, and they even sell Sacramento Kings and other trading cards. They have a car wash, but it is a touchless car wash. I personally have not had a lot of luck with touchless car washes. . One thing that they don't have, is any slot machines. A lot of the Native American gas stations do have an area that you can play slots. But since this is not on the same property as the casino, that may be the reason that they don't. This travel center is OK however the gas station part of it needs to be modified a little bit. They want all the cars to come in one direction even though the gas tanks may be on the left side mostly for cars they should not have just One Direction, especially since they pumps do not extend. read more

Perfect stop for RVs. Plenty of clearance. Maneuvering in the parking lot was not an issue. Gas lanes are also well spaced apart. They have a walk in beer refrigerator with numerous craft beer! Clean restrooms but requires a key from the cashier. We were able to get adequate rest with no interruptions. Friendly staff! read more

I go to almost every casino gas station in California and redhawk is by far the most expensive. Especially their nicotine prices. You can buy a log of zyns at other casinos like Jackson for 30-40$ but at redhawk you're paying 60-70$. I asked the front desk lady why it's so high and she says it's "California law" knowing well that casinos are exempt to certain laws. This place price gauges their tobacco and nicotine up the rear. read more

Super convenient location seconds from Hwy 50. Very easy to pull into and find a pump. Prices are always lower than anywhere else in the county. The quality of the gas is fine but some gas snobs complain it's not tier one. Like what? With gas prices everywhere else in the $6+ range almost $7, Red Hawk is still in the middle $5 range. I initially gave this business 2 stars and followed up with an email to allow management the opportunity to respond. I have received no response whatsoever. That lack of accountability is disappointing and speaks volumes about their customer service. My original concerns remain unresolved, and without any attempt to address them, I cannot recommend this business. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and common decency. Very scammy operation. First, instead of asking you if you would "like a car wash" the pump asks you to "select your car wash", as if you've already decided to get one. Second, the pump tells you if you want a receipt for your gas purchase to go see the cashier, the obvious purpose of which is to get you to go in the store and make an additional purchase. In the past, we have stopped at this facility(when it was called Express Fuel) to dump the holding tanks on our travel trailer and top off with diesel fuel for the truck. Back then, staff was courteous, the dumping charge was a reasonable $20 and fuel prices were good. Well, yesterday we stopped there again for the same routine and was told by a snotty clerk that the dumping charge was $50. Huh?! His manner was rude for the brief interaction I had before walking out and NEVER coming back, I don't care what the fuel prices are. If this is any indication of how the casino wants to run their business , then we are done stopping there even though it's very convenient on our camping travels up and down Hwy 50. read more

Wow...what a put-off. My husband and I stopped at the Travel Center, and there were two lovely employees who were extremely friendly and polite as I asked for the bathroom key. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the bathroom, so when I went back to return the key, I commented on how nice it was. The long red hair lady said, "We take pride in that." I told her that I really appreciated it. I smiled and started to leave... then I heard another voice say, "Aren't you going to buy anything?" I turned back toward the voice, and it was an older, balding man stoops down in back of the counter. (Not one of the polite and friendly people who had been there when I first arrived.) I told him that we had purchased gas...and I turned and walked out. My good feelings about the customer service were overshadowed by this man. I got such an off-putting feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I'm still angered by his comment. If it would've been possible, I would have given back the gas and demanded a refund and tell the jerk that I won't be buying anything from HIM! It is disappointing how a really positive first impression, and what was going to be a stellar review turned into a bad review, and a dissatisfied customer. Such a disappointing experience at this place. I went in and paid for a $14 car wash, and only half of my vehicle was washed and left a bunch of soap on it. Complained to the manager and all they did was give me a basic car wash and refused to reimburse me or give me the same type of car wash that I had paid for at the pump. Such poor customer service. This location was the perfect place to use their RV dump facility. We stopped in on Memorial Day to dump as we have done in the past. When I went into the store to pay, I was shocked to find out their dump fees have skyrocket to $50!!! Needless to say, we won't be using their facility in the future. The Rv dumb cost $50 dollars ( that's right 50 dollars ) The staff complained about having to unlock the dump and complained again when I asked them to unlock the water so I could flush my tank.
