There are different types of hot food available and they even have a pizza section (Sbarro's). The store is very clean and the cashiers are nice/welcoming. I don't normally do "gas station" food, but I did pick up a chicken roll and some cajun-boiled peanuts. I had a small issue regarding my receipt, but it was made right and I so appreciate that. They are positive, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about their customers. They go out of their way to help. From their patience at Eat's Southern Cooking with a large order during their busiest morning time to one of their checkout clerks helping me to my car with my order, they make my visit a pleasure. That, in turn, makes me pass other closer gas stations to get to this one! In today's negative customer climate, thanks for your awesome customer service! While I'm on the subject, Eat's Southern Cooking is a gem. Located within the SunStop, they serve a traditional buffet-style country breakfast and lunch that is superior to many regular restaurants. From their egg casserole to their fried pork chops and fish, the entree selections encompass everything you could want and more! If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing! Quality of food is way way down compared to what it was with the last owners. These owners only care about money and will get it anyway they can. Very sad. I went in here simply and ask for change to use the lotto machine which I had $100 bill. The girl told me to buy something and then when I got ready to buy something told me we don't have change anyway to go to Publics. We don't have change in here for that. I have never been treated so rudely in my whole entire life she kept going on and on arguing back and forth with me, and then stated to me she didn't know the number there. Also told me that everything's being heard on camera. She had an attitude from the very beginning if these people are mad that they have to work then they shouldn't be working. Grabbed a fresh pork tenderloin as well as both smoked and fresh sausage to try and was wowed by all. The guys at the meat counter were friendly and helpful and the lady at checkout is adorable and cheery. I cannot wait to drive back thru and stock up again!

Inside you will smell delicious gluten free and preservative free sausage. People come from all over the country to visit this store and to try their famous tractor milled grits. We took home hot pepper sauces and several preserves . They were so friendly here from the guys in back serving sausage dogs and links to checkout. Walking around the store is nostalgic for old time items like RC cola and small games from the 60s. Out on the porch are 4 rocking chairs and by the lake are places to picnic which we did with my parents who said they felt they were on vacation since it was so peaceful. Will definitely make a return visit when come back to Tally!
