Reviews were good so I thought I would give it a try. *Disclaimer* I am sick, yes SICK of takeaways around Brunel charging obscene amounts of my hard earned for what amount to poor quality burgers, donners, chicken, you name it, I can guarantee if you have something delivered it will arrive in a hard bun with a dolop of overpowering sauce and rubbery meat. Not much else but rubbery chips to go with, almost always costing over four pounds. *Disclaimer* Chixys Grill however is oh so different. I ordered the Sizzlers Mix Grill Large which consists of: 7 pieces of chicken tikka, 3 lamb chops, 2 kebabs, 3 wings & 2 pieces of chicken and the Quarter Pounder Burger Meal because im just fat like that! Ok so, the chicken tikka pieces were juicy, succulent and tender, perfect starter to prepare me for the lamb chops. Lamb Chops, oh my you beauties, these were proper tasty, meaty chops that I just could not get enough off, in fact I wish there were more than three! Kebabs again were yum, with a great texture and lovely spices throughout. Ok now I am getting quite full, but I must continue as the smell of grilled chicken is begging me to tuck in.. I start with a piece of chicken, using my hands to tear off a chunk and, and.. hmm its ok. The rest of the meal has been so amazing that the piece of chicken tastes very normal, Maybe I have overpowered my taste buds with aforementioned meaty goodness? So I decide to take a quick breather and go for a walk as I remember I also ordered a Quarter Pounder Burger Meal!! Back from my walk, I have managed to create a Quarter Pounder sized space and so open the box to investigate. First bite... WOW again a revelation. This is *Dirty Takeaway* food at its best. Proper slab of flame grilled beef, fresh salad and lovely subtle sauces topped and tailed with top quality buns. If Burger King did takeaway this is what it would be like. Struggling to move I reach for my phone and give Chixys Grill a call. I tell them how happy I am with my meal and how I am now defiantly a repeat customer. I will order again! Maybe. Beef Burger, I went for the 10oz, which is big enough. Don't expect anything special, it's a well done lump of burger beef. Pricing at this place is random. Chicken fillet burger is 1.99 for something that isn't a little mini fillet. Beef Burger however isn't worth the 7.50 and neither is the single burnt strip of bacon that they charge one pound for. You get a choice of burger names to pick from, all for the same price; same price if you pick the one with BBQ sauce, same if you get the one with extra cheese and chicken fillet. Random pricing. For a new joint the service isn't exceptional enough to drag customers back in either, since the food clearly won't. Watching the staff being unreasonable and arguing with another customer in front of me isn't going far to help their business either. I wish them the best, but I won't be going back.

I have often catered for adhoc last minute meals for friends and family from Beef Belly and the feedback has always been very positive! The food isn't the fastest to prepare but I don't mind that as its cooked on the grill in front of you and there is no microwave or precooked food in sight! It's burgers and Piri Piri Chicken beat most of the take away's in the Uxbridge area and I have tried most.

It drove me from the restaurant into a plaza taking my "dine in" food to eat with the pigeons and those smoking on plaza benches. My left ear has been hurting the rest of the afternoon. This is my first time I have been audibly harmed while in a restaurant...simply awful!

I watched them make one for someone else on the most recent trip and that bad occasion must have been a one off thankfully. The burgers are total customisation - just get how much or little you want on them. Oh and the soda machines are the best ones in the country! Free refills too. Sure it's a bit pricy for burgers and fries - but when they're this good it isn't a surprise that it is so busy.
