Which we found it had a lien on it. She worked with the seller to stay patient until we were able to get the lien released on it. It took nearly 2 months but we got it done. Did I say we got the best price for it. We had personal offers that was nearly 20k less than what she got us. You want the best go with this company. The seller realtor was from here as well. Absolutely no communication on their part. They are the worst company we have ever dealt with. I honestly wonder if it's all of Clayton homes or just that one. We signed papers in October 2023 and it's April 2024 and we are still not able to move in. They won't come to fix ALL the repairs. There are cracks EVERYWHERE and not just tiny cracks. One wall was busted up. The master bedroom ceiling is cracked all the way across and appears to be caving in. The oven and microwave doesn't even work. When the house arrived it had plaster drops, plaster dust, paint drops, adhesive all over the quartz countertops, trim, floor, doors, and cabinets. I spent days and lots of money cleaning that all and still some just won't come off. The drawers and handles are crooked. The back door doesn't close and the door knob fell off 3 times while they were there. Two interior doors gap open and one of the bathroom windows is crooked! The shower floor is chipped. They painted the outside ends of the house two different colors . Worst company, worst manufacturer! They tell us over and over they're are coming and they don't! They lie! Take your money and flat out don't care after that. Today was the last straw when they said we could call headquarters if we wanted. They tell us to just move in. Why would we move in and can't use all the appliances and doors? Why would we move our things and new items in the house (incase they do come back) and it be covered in paint and dust all over it. Clayton homes is SLOPPY! Whatever you're thinking, go anywhere else! We wish someone would have told us. Never again and never will we let anyone we know fall for their talk either.
