I feel much better, and I don't hear grinding in my neck anymore. The appointment doesn't need to take a long time, and you don't need to hear a ton of cracking. I really appreciate the communication through text message prior to my appointment and with an appointment reminder for my upcoming appointment. The facility was clean and very open. Sometimes chiropractors will try to set up shop in former office spaces which are hard to navigate around those small rooms. This was very spacious. Over the past five years of having back issues off and on, I've never had x-rays done and it was very helpful. The chiropractor was personable and fun. Also knowledgeable. He seemed understanding and asked questions to get to the root of the causes of my issues. When discussing my past powerlifting he was acknowledging and understanding as well. I was also given the choice of ongoing treatment plan. Did I want to just come in for adjustments or do I actually want to try to fix the problem long-term. This was helpful because I have encountered chiropractors who almost want you to remain addicted to their services trying to get you to come in every couple of weeks, and also chiropractors who pop you back in and turn you out until your next visit. This was nice because I truly do want to solve the problem and not always have to see a chiropractor when I can least fit it into my schedule or when out of town to have to go to someone unfamiliar all of the time. I'm excited to move forward with a plan of action, and most importantly I look forward to being able to lay on the rolling table next visit. Essentially it is a flat table but the whole middle section is unpadded and there's a rollerball that moves up and down the spine my legs are elevated. I met with him…read morebecause I was seeing a budget friendly chiropractor who often took off for a week or so without providing a substitute chiropractor like some chiropractic businesses will do. I filled out Dr. Matt's forms and he could tell that I was barely making a living in self-employment. He charged me the regular rate and waved the first visit fee since I was making an effort with regular visits with another chiropractor. Although he cost more than the other chiropractor, his results actually saved me a lot of money. I did not need an adjustment for months. He uses the best equipment in the business. I walked to his adjustment table and the table moved me without my having to strain. He then used electric stimulation to make certain my muscles were in a perfect state for manipulation. I was provided instructions to not exercise immediately after the adjustment and given Biofreeze. My back had not felt that good in years. I would have seen him again when my back slowly regressed but I had left the area and I have yet to find another chiropractor with his magic touch since. I wish I could have taken his office and his professional assistance with me. He is highly compassionate and an excellent healer.
