A wind brings a shower of the fall foliage, and a reminder that nothing is permanent. My mid-fall dreams are full of this water, and the sound it makes meandering along it's path to the eternal. I see a beautiful rainbow trout raising to the bait. The inevitable splash and taking of the line. The curl of my fly rod as I set the hook and the battle is on. Sadly, that was not to be this day (but I have caught many here before). Any time on the Little Red is time well spent. Book in hand, I relax on the rocky shore. So our lake experience was hindered because of difficulty of getting into the boat when we got out for swimming. We brought it to John's attention when we returned.We realized then that they knew it was damaged and rented it to us anyway. I asked for some type of compensation after renting a boat for $600 that was suppose to have a working ladder. John said he could pay for our gas which would amount to about $75. When it was refueled the amount was $29. I asked about the remainder being put toward our rental. John said he never said $75. I told him he was lying because I would not have any idea to the amount it cost to refuel. He told me to get out of his store. I had read a few other reviews where this marina was difficult to work with if there was a problem. I should have listened. So I am writing this review to warn others that Eden Isle Marina is not a reputable business.

He was extremely friendly and took care of our every need. He taught us how to properly use the equipment and we were hauling in trout in no time! We banked the boat around noon and had a great lunch, provided by him. After lunch we headed back downstream to tear up some more fish! We caught over 135 trout and had a blast! I highly recommend Cameron, and his prices were very low for what you get in return! Great guy and great memories with my dad!
