After reading great reviews on RTS last August (2014), I contacted Sergey and Dilyara to shoot an event I didn't even have a solid date for: a military homecoming! Over a 9-10 month period, I had constant contact, updating them with possible dates, locations, and times, which were ever changing. They were so patient! Finally, a solid date came, we discussed pricing, location, etc, and everything was set! Even up until the last 24 hours before my husband pulled into port in San Diego on an air craft carrier, Sergey and Dilyara were accommodating my every minutiae change! Sergey started shooting pre-reunion pictures in absolute chaos (thousands of people present for their loved ones to get off of the ship). He kept his cool, caught extremely dynamic and beautiful images, and even played with my friend's son when he got a little cranky. Finally. My husband was off of the ship and had managed to sneak up behind me. He signaled to Sergey (who he had never met before!) that he was indeed my husband. Without alerting me to the surprise, Sergey started snapping pictures immediately. It made for an extremely emotional reunion. After we were reunited, Sergey was able to take some absolutely stunning portraits of my husband and I. I was instantly drawn to their photography style because you could really see the raw emotion in the moments they captured in their photography. I decided to contact Sergey at Red Trolley for our elopement after seeing a friend's engagement photos. I loved the unique style of the photography, very different from the traditional wedding/engagement styles you usually see. Sergey responded to all my emails very quickly and was always available via phone as well. Dilyara set up all our contracts and payments and was also a pleasure to work with. Sergey arrived early at the day of our ceremony which I was grateful for. We took photos at the County Administration Building as well as Balboa Park and Sergey did a great job of directing us for locations and poses. We were recommended to use Red Trolley for our wedding photography and we could not have been happier with this decision. We originally contacted them in November 2014 for our June 2015 wedding. We are from Orange County, so our first meeting was held over Skype. Sergey and Dilyara were very professional and took the time to get to know us and what we were expecting for our wedding day. Dilyara came to our house to do a newborn session. Our little girl had just turned 4 weeks, so we weren't sure what to expect with her sleep schedule and her attitude.
