I was looking to take my daughter to a Birkenstock store and this was the closest that we could come to finding one. The young girl that helped us informed us that she was new and kept pushing some shoes that she was wearing that were lined with fur, she kept mentioning how she just posted them on social media, etc. etc. I said I'm sorry we are here specifically for Birkenstocks and maybe to look at some of the ON brand shoes When my daughter picked up a para Bourke in stocks, I said to her how much do these cost? She said oh probably about 160 I said well let's not guess let's find out what they cost while I was waiting. I started to look at other shoes and was very interested in two or three other pairs for myself Along the walls. I noticed that not one pair of shoes in this entire store with the exception of clearance, Shoes had any price tags whatsoever and given the aforementioned work when I asked how much another pair was, I did not have the energy nor the desire to chase down prices on every pair I wanted to look at, I did mention this to one of the other girls and she said the owner for us for putting prices on the shoes because we just have such a high turnover in our shoes. We couldn't possibly keep track of the prices which is bullshit. My daughter ended up finding a pair of Birkenstocks. She liked. I asked the girl if she was going to fit them as far as tightening the buckles so that she could break them properly and she looked at me like I was speaking. Greek never bought a pair of Birkenstocks, where they didn't gladly help you adjust them so they would be broken in properly. It's a very nice store, but the fact that they don't put prices on any of the merchandise nor have staff that is very knowledgeable about the brands or the prices I'm going to say we won't be back

Valley Sole was almost my last chance for finding shoes that didn't have the librarian velcro vibe…read more They advertise that Valley Sole sells "healthy shoes that aren't old lady shoes". As I'm driving to the store I actually say a little prayer that they have one pair that will work. "Please, please, please have something". I have special sizing needs for one foot - think Fred Flintstone - extremely wide. Think one of the ducks in Big Spring Park wide. But just one "messed up foot" (as my daughter calls it) It makes finding a pair that will accommodate both feet beyond challenging. Unfortunately, my prayer was not answered. I must have tried on literally 50 pair with very little luck. Valley sole is a specialty shoe store but their specialty is healthy shoes, comfortable shoes for the average foot. I thought they also catered to those of us who have special fit requirements - that's where I was wrong. I needed a wide but most of the shoes even ran a little narrow. The salesgirl knew about each shoe, but apparently, didn't know anything about how to properly fit a shoe. She just handed me shoe after shoe that I thought might work but she never looked at my feet to try to determine what would work best. Had she been able to help with anything other than style/manufacturing advice, I think we would have both been less frustrated. I obviously needed wide sizes, the only option at all on most shoes was length. Also, I did run into a lot shoes that were out of stock in my size. I was able to special order but I had to pay in advance and could only return if they fit within their normal stock. So even if a shoe did come in wide, because it wasn't a normal size that they would carry, I was stuck with it. That absolutely would not work for me. Know that comfort does come at price - the shoes at Valley Sole are expensive but they are well made and last. I have several pair that I bought here when my kids were in high school that I'm still wearing. (My baby is 31, you do the math.) A couple pair are still available - the design has remained the same for years. Costly? Yes. Worth it? Definitely. IF you can find a pair. I thought I had found a few pair that might work - not the dress shoes that I came in for but I'd take even casual shoes. I purchased three pair. I was so excited to have found shoes. That excitement was short lived as I then took them home, walked around in them a little on the carpet and then, disappointingly, returned two of the three pair. (They do have a 14 day return policy). No amount of breaking in was going to solve my problem. I did keep a pair of Naots but I have buyers remorse even with them. They just don't fit right. Honestly, I felt bad for returning two pair so I let my emotions decide and failed to listen to my rational side as I kept the expensive, ill fitting shoes. Bottom line, if your feet hurt - this may be the place for you, but if you have special needs - you may need to try somewhere else. And if you find that place, please let me know. I have one pair of shoes that actually fit and don't hurt. I am DESPERATE.

I recently purchased two pairs of shoes from your website during a sale and also received an…read moreadditional $10 off as a new customer. Since your nearest store is approximately 50 miles from my home, I chose to order online rather than spend the time and gas driving there. Unfortunately, when the shoes arrived, they were too small. I reluctantly made the 50-mile trip to the store to do what I believed would be a simple even exchange for the correct size, only to be told that I would need to pay more for the exact same shoes. I was informed that the online pricing differs from the in-store pricing. I found this extremely frustrating and confusing. In fact, hearing that only reinforced why I chose to shop online in the first place. I asked to speak with a manager, and after waiting for one to be contacted, I was disappointed to find that he would not make any exception or accommodation. While the price difference was only $5.18, that is not the point. I should not have been expected to pay additional money for an even exchange of the exact same item in a different size. After driving such a long distance and explaining the situation, I was honestly shocked that no effort was made to help resolve the issue. As a result, I wasted time and gas, received disappointing customer service, and ultimately left with shoes I cannot wear. I would still like to exchange them for the correct size, but I do not feel it is right to be charged extra for what should be an even exchange. I hope your company will reconsider this situation and provide a more reasonable resolution.

I like Shoe Fly. That's beautiful. I never knew their strong Christian foundation until reading this this morning. The in-store experience for me has been a tightly edited selection of women's clothing and shoes. And when I say "tightly edited" also, the store's footprint is small. I was confused when I first roamed into Shoe Fly because, by the name, I thought it was just a shoe store. No, they offer ladies dresses, tops, bottoms, rompers, jumpsuits, and shoes. They have two brick and mortars, one in Huntsville and one in Madison where you will find "unique items in store that you cannot buy online." They offer everything from t-shirts to denim, embroidered shorts, knit pants, midi and mini dresses, and bodycon dresses. Their prices are reasonable, too! Their online selection looks larger than the in-store selection and shipping is free with a $50.00 purchase. Shoe Fly is a fun place to check out, browse freely and support local!

I used to fit in a majority of their tops but now I don't fit in most of their clothes and when I asked if they had a larger size the sales girl acted almost insulted and told me they don't order anything larger than a large. I wear a large in target and kohl's and other brands like that but I can't seem to fit in the large at Shoe Fly. I had a great and helpful experience at the Madison location but still didn't find anything to fit. I'm not fat I'm just curvy with a little tummy but walking into Shoe Fly makes me feel like a hippo. What was once my favorite store is now the number one place I avoid because of how it makes me feel. I wish they were more helpful towards people who don't have tiny model bodies.
