Our drier broke and it took them over a month to replace it (there is literally a menards in Manhattan, they could have went there), my door was busted in, door handle hanging off and my actual door was cracked and they did nothing about that. it always smells like pot because of the tenants around us and when I tell them I am allergic they still do nothing about it and they we have had the loudest upstairs neighbors and regardless of showing pictures and videos of how loud they are at night and in the morning, they only get a slap on the wrist for being a disturbance. we pay like $80 a month for maintenance fees for stuff that doesn't even get done. So I don't even know why we're paying the fees. I called and asked about replacing a screen over six months ago (due to the screen Being to small and it fell out) and it's still not replaced. we also have a terrible bird problem because there's parts in the deck where the birds can put nests and they crap everywhere. It's also rare for people to have their dogs on leashes and sometimes peoples dogs will come up to my dog Aggressively. Luckily, my dog is friendly. I am down at the bottom part where the creek is And if you're down in this part, you will not get any maintenance hardly at all we are put on the back burner most of the time. We have had so many potholes that are just getting bigger and bigger down here and I'm sure people have called about them because I have rolled my ankle more than once in those potholes walking to my car (It hurts because the potholes are deep and very jagged) the apartment buildings that are down in our half are almost always left uncut when the lawn people do come they do a very poor job of actually cleaning up what needs to be cleaned up as far as the grass goes. We have people from across the street that have houses with literal driveways that will have any guests come and take up our parking in our parking lot that we pay for like make that makes sense. It's absolutely ridiculous How the people that pay almost $1300 a month in rent not counting other expenses are put on the back burner and we never get anything done down here. I also also do not find the staff very friendly. The only one that is friendly is Victoria, she has been such a person in regards to anything that comes up. The assistant manager is very passive aggressive and is very rude, and she is the one that you talk to the most of the time.

I cleaned the apartment and everything was in better condition than when my son (a sergeant in the Army) and I moved in. I took photos of the move-in, where I photographed bugs on the floor, holes in the screen door, dirty countertops, etc. FYI make certain you 'dust' the light bulbs or they will charge you for that. We received $42 of $500 and only after I complained to the parent company, threatened to sue, and sent photos of the CLEAN apartment did we receive an additional $191 which was STILL not satisfactory. We have lived all over the country and have always received all or most of our deposit back. The refrigerator, freezer, kitchen floors (as well as bathroom floors), tubs, toilets, sinks were all spotless. The kitchen floors were swept and mopped. The carpet looked new. The microwave was cleaned as well. I dusted everything in the apartment and there were no light bulbs out when I left except one missing in the dining room. The dishwasher wasn't 'dirty' because we hadn't used it in months as maintenance didn't repair the door properly and it would never close. They used two nails to try to balance the door but it never closed properly afterward. I also cleaned the laundry room door as well as the washer/dryer and even behind both. All of these things were listed as DIRTY on the refund checklist. Fortunately, I make it a practice to take photos of everything in the apartment BEFORE I left/AFTER I cleaned. From reading reviews previously I've found others who have complained about the same practice. Management is not honest and has done this to many others according to online reports. I believe it's a slap in the face to our military and to others who rent there. We will definitely not be renting at Georgetown or any 'sister' complexes when my son returns to Fort Riley from Germany.

After 4 days of "I don't know", my son and his roommate are still living in a unit that is 95+ degrees. Completely unacceptable. Would not recommend living here. (For what it's worth--this was NOT in my top 3 places of where I wanted my son to live--but I let him choose. Experience (in this case, bad experience) is the best teacher!
