The quality of the work was adequate. The price was not all that was required was a three-way valve or a T valve installed on an existing copper waterline and then install installed on an existing plastic waterline to a refrigerator.. the technician at first told me the price would be $425 and when I told them that I was going to get another plumber, he magically dropped it to $325... my tenant had all the parts except for the one T valve to go on the copper line so I thought this price was excessive especially since the first price was $425. read more

Over $500 and 6 weeks to fix our oven. Repairman overlooked the actual problem and ruined parts that we had to pay for....or based on the invoice, we think we did. We requested an itemized invoice and instead of receiving one, we were threatened with interest charges if we didn't pay. The only positive thing was-- they fixed the wood floor they badly scratched. would not recommend for appliance repair. read more

We had them out for a fencing estimate (they installed the original fence) and its now been 10+ days without getting a proposal. When I called them they were stuck at another job and weren't able to come out. Do you think they could give me a 30 second phone call and let me know? Oh no, they couldn't. I came home early from a trip to make sure I was here for the appointment. They suck and they are very independent so please do not use them. read more

The service provided was timely and efficient. The technician was polite and professional doing the work. My discontent came when he told me there would be an additional "processing fee" if I used a credit card. But then he told me I could do an electronic transfer from my checking account and avoid the fee, if I used the link in the email being sent to me for the bill. However, when I got the e-mail, there was no invoice. So I e-mailed a response to get one. The next day I received a email from the office with the bill. The bill was $26.36 + tax higher than the estimate. I then got a call informing me the additional cost was hazardous waste disposal charges. None of these cost items were itemized on the bill! No labor break-out, material costs or disposal costs. I don't like receiving a bill that exceeds the estimate and have arbitrary costs just added to a bill. Not a company valuing ethics or honesty in business. They really dropped on my list for repeat work. read more

Called to request service to finish project started last fall. They were to call back with a date. After no hearing from them I called and they gave me a date about 2 weeks out in the a.m. When the date arrived and half the morning passed and still no sign of anyone I called. They called me back and said a technician would be out still but not until the afternoon and they would call when on their way. 4:30 came around and still no word from them. I called again. They said he was running late b but would be very there yet that day. Never showed or called. A day off work unpaid wasted. Called next morning and asked to speak to a manager. Put on hold. Came back and said I will be put on schedule. Couldnt talk to a manager. We now have plants installed with no sprinklers to get water to them. It is now 4 pm the following day and still havent heard from them. Horrible customer service. read more

I had a tenant hire Reddi Industries to do some clean-up work for him. I (the landlord) have received a bill for the service, that I did not authorize. When I inquired after the 1st bill, I was told that it says on the account the tenant was responsible for the payment....so why are you sending me a bill? "Your name was in our system", so they sent me a bill as well. (I think they googled who the homeowner was and thought they could double bill) You would have thought after the 1st phone call to them it would be resolved, (especially when they told me the account says the tenant was responsible for the bill) but no....I have received a 2nd statement notification. The reason my name is in their system, is because I had hired them several years ago to run a sewer line. Within 10 minutes of their arrival, I received a phone call that they were unable to get through and they had broken 3 blades off in the line... 15 minutes isn't long enough to do this, and then they tried to tell me I needed a more expensive treatment to clear the line. I told them their services were no longer needed. I then dug the line myself, and there were no blades in the line.....seems a little fishy to me. I had another company run the line without any difficulty, or broken blades. Long story short.....I will NEVER request the assistance of Reddi Industries. read more

Called Reddi last night when my garage door went south. Cables came off, jumped the track and my truck was stuck in the garage. The repair guy from Reddi showed up actually early the next morning and was extremely knowledgeable. This guy knew the problem right away and in no time my door was all back together and operating better than before it broke and cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend these guys!!!! We have had four or five opportunities to interact with Reddi Industries. Each time the technicians were prompt, kind and performed the request work professionally. I LOVE the fact that Reddi Industries does not restrict their working hours and there is not an increased charge for after hours or weekend service calls. After experiencing a negative encounter with another plumber (assigned by my home warranty provider)...Reddi fixed the original problem AND the problem created by the other company. This is what you will get with reddi industries: A broken A/C unit and a charge of $700. While they said they "fixed" my A/C unit, four hours later it was still not running properly. 10 hours later and it is 82 degrees, which is ten degrees above the thermostat setting. We spoke with quality control, who refused to refund our $700 that we paid to "fix" the unit, which showed absolutely no improvement after the service call. Thanks reddi industries, for stealing my money and losing a valued customer. Beware public: this business might guarantee satisfaction, but they instead take your money without rendering the service promised. Publicly, I would like to ask Reddit Industries to abide by good business practice and ethics by refunding my $700 and only charge me an assessment fee. read more

We have called and left messages, more than once, for 2 different projects (new garage doors & new sprinkler system) we wanted estimates on. Our garage doors have been done for almost a year now and we're still waiting to hear back from Reddi (LOL). Thought we give them another chance and call about getting an estimate for the sprinkler system...and what do ya know? Haven't got a call back..big surprise there. We're still in the process of getting estimates so nothing has been done, yet, BUT we'll NEVER call Reddi again. Apparently they've got so much business now, they don't need any more. Have been using Reddi for a number of years now. Had the same tech as I did 4 years ago. Dennis is a great guy and an asset to the company. He is always on time, clean, professional and one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. I get tree roots from my neighbors tree and he is always able to knock them out. WAAYY over priced!! The business model (at least for plumbing) is basically get what they can out of people in bad situation. I had a leak in my water main right outside the foundation. They quoted me $1200. I needed it fixed quick so didn't have a choice. And that was with me doing all the digging. The guy was actually here less than 2 hours to do the job that he didn't even finish properly. ... REALLY $600 per hour?? If you need a plumber call someone that will give you a fair estimate. Scheduled an estimate for June 6th and she gave me a time between 3:30 pm and 5 pm. Waited until 5 pm but no one showed. Called them and said they had it scheduled for June 13th. I made it clear to the person I did the scheduling with that I would not be able to do it on the 13th and she said she had some time available for the 6th and I asked her specially if the work could be done before the 13th and she didn't see a problem with that. I wish I could give them some kind of review but since they didn't show up at the time agreed upon, I won't be able to do so. Both times Dennis showed up two hours early and since we were trying to coordinate with a gutter repairman who was there to meet us, this became very frustrating. Did fantastic job troubleshooting my HVAC system after a major power surge at my home. Pricing was on average with other competitors. Showed up on Saturday and told me if I could wait till Monday parts would be cheaper to get. And they were willing to let me pay in two installments if needed, which I didn't need to do after I got bill. I highly recommend their services to everyone. read more

Reddi is the biggest bunch of crooks in the Tri-State Area. We called when our utility room flooded with what WE thought was a hot water heater issue (we're not professional plumbers). They had a tech come out who told us we needed a new water heater to the tune of $3200. It should've been an indication to him that wasn't the issue when he drained the old heater into our main drain and it continued to flood. We had to put buckets there to catch it all. He proceeded to put the new hot water heater in, told us the issue was fixed and left. Later that evening I went downstairs and there was 1/2 inch of standing water in the same room. We called back and they sent the same tech out who said he thought the issue was actually the main drain. They sent another tech out the next morning who snaked the drain and ACTUALLY fixed the problem to the tune of $400. When we tried to fight the $400 bill since THEIR professional diagnosed the issue incorrectly, they first offered a 10% discount, then offered to split the bill with us. When asked to explain their justification for not waiving the smaller bill, their accountant told me their tech "is a plumber, not a drain tech" - whatever tf that means. Overall we feel very taken advantage of, particularly since we didn't even fight the much bigger bill of $3500 but the much smaller one for the service we actually did need. Came to find out their techs work off commission though, so we won't be calling them in the future and you shouldn't either. read more

Had them come out to work on the air conditioning unit. Came out on Friday to look at job said had a leak. Couldn't fix tonight need to come back Sunday to do job. Left Friday not fixing anything but in the work order put that he spent time fixing the issue. Then came back Sunday to fix the unit and put it would 4-6 hours was only at my house 2 hours 30 minutes but still billed me for 4-5 hours of work. Called to get them to fix the issue and they said well you agree to the estimate. Will not be using them again. Not over paying for service that was not provided. I called for an free estimate per the advertising on there web site. They came out gave their estimate never charged for it. I did go with another company, two months later they sent me a bill for $75.00. I called to ask why I was being charged 75.00 for a free estimate had to speak with couple different people before they could determine why. It appears when the tech pulls out that first tool to start the free estimate it is no longer free. They justify the price because he actually had to take a piece off to to the estimate. How do you do a estimate without checking things out ? would be my question. I was referred to them by two different people that did receive free estimates and pricing for repairs. Beware of companies who chose how and who they charge for free estimates. Very disappointing to have companies that use mis-leading advertising to gain business. I do see other complaints here bout them guess I should have read the reviews prior to calling them. Lesson learned. I live in Wichita Ks. read more
