He has a Google profile "Tri-MED Behavioral & Sleep Medicine: Oluyemi Aina, MD" with various poor reviews. I'd made my decision to see him after reading positive feedback on his other profiles. I'm posting my review on various platforms so hopefully people won't make the same mistake I did. I just got off a call with him after waiting a month to be seen as a new patient. My experience has been extremely disappointing and I'm appalled at how I was treated. For anyone suffering from a complex or frustrating diagnosis, Dr. Aina is a WASTE of time and money and will make you regret opening up to him about your pain. The doctor acted dismissive and rude from the get-go, as if he didn't want to be there. He started the appointment late, then cut me off multiple times after asking me to describe my issues and asked me outright multiple times why I was seeing him in the first place. I told him I was seeking to transfer care after not seeing progress for years on my condition, having seen several ineffectual psychiatrists and tried upwards of ten medications to no benefit. He essentially accused me of doctor shopping and made me justify why I had switched from each psychiatrist even though he went through my prescription history and could clearly see evidence of me being prescribed inappropriate medications. Note that I did NOT at any point ask for addictive or controlled medications during the appointment. He told me I had no idea what I was talking about regarding my diagnosis and "looking stuff up on the internet is no way similar to having a medical degree", as if I was making things up about my lived experience. Before we were even halfway through the appointment, you could see he'd already washed his hands of me. I was nothing but civil and yet from the beginning it felt like I was on the stand defending myself before a judge. I don't know if this doctor treats every new patient with this attitude-- I don't know if it was because I'm young and a woman or if he just doesn't respect his clientele. It's very unlikely he was unaware how he was coming across. I've seen rude medical providers before but this really takes the cake in terms of outright disregard. The one star on this review goes towards the medical assistant who did my intake, she at least was friendly and treated me like a person.

At the last minute of the appt., while walking away from me, she remembered that I needed one of the prescriptions and then disappeared. What? How is this a quality visit? I wasn't listened to or respected. I could have stayed home with my PTO. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Writing this review so others won't waste their time.

Jennifer is not afraid to question the diagnosis of other doctors or perform test to rule out other possible causes for symptoms. She is thorough with her patient exams and doesn't make you feel as though you are just an account number in her system. If you are someone who has lost faith in the standard " take these and call me in two months", then this is the office you need. This doctor is not afraid to deviate from the beaten path, going to more natural treatments for what ails the human body. I consider Jennifer Laing not only my doctor but a HIGHLY RESPECTED FRIEND, someone who is not afraid to tell you what you have going on, but will hold your hand as you cry. A true shame more doctors are not like her. Mind you I have immune system and mega lung problems. then they proceeded to drop me because I was too nervous and rescheduled 2 times. Mind you I'm also agoraphobic and have pd, neuropathy, narcolepsy and a lot of others. I have now been without meds for over a year because they refuse to take an appointment from me and are the only neurologists for miles. Zero stars if I could.​

I have never written a review but felt compelled to write this one in the hope it will help others…read more Some years ago I developed two spots on my lower left leg. I didn't think much about it and used every ointment imaginable to treat but the spots only got worse. I then resorted to home remedies that included coating the two areas with honey and avocado. None of these treatments helped and both of these areas had now become very painful, inflamed sores that created hole like indentions in my leg. The wounds were now extremely painful 24/7, very swollen, and there was a discoloration of the skin. I didn't know what was wrong, where to go, or who could help me. I can't begin to express how blessed I was to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hayes. Someone was finally able to tell me what was wrong and how he was able to medically treat in order for the wounds to heal. He explained that I had Venous Disease and the wounds were venous ulcers that would never heal without proper medical treatment. Dr. Hayes has performed more than one vein procedure for my chronic venous insufficiency and have all been very successful. I hope this helps others who might be undergoing a similar situation. (He's a coffee lover, so I have that in common with him) Wait times in waiting room are pretty short, be prepared to wait in the rooms, though. Rooms are cold! Procedure room is cold, too! (FYI they do have heated bed for procedures which is super nice). But your hands and feet will be COLD. ESP. If they do another procedure before yours while you are laying there . Prep is COLD, too! Ahhh warm that up, lovies! Don't worry about the sour face on one of the front office staff people. It's nothing personal. I think they are just focused or something. The nurses are all friendly. (She could smile more, but whatever. She's never rude or anything, so must be a demeanor thing.) They are all down to earth and personable. Fee free to ask questions. They should give out coffee to warm you up in the rooms, maybe music or a television would be useful. ‍ The care was great, so def. would refer!

First of all I've been seen here for only 6 weeks and they have already changed my medications…read moreTHREE TIMES. They only give you a two week supply at a time which makes you HAVE TO book ANOTHER $100 appointment every two weeks. Most antidepressants take at least 8 weeks to start showing signs of helping but they kept changing my meds every two weeks which also caused major medication withdrawals. There is no online option or text or email options to view when your appointments are only a text saying you have a telehealth appointment "coming up". I called to cancel my telehealth appointment and was told I would need to pay $100 for a no show. So either I pay $100 and see them and they changed my meds again and ruin months of my life or I don't see them and still pay $100. This practice is so awful that I chose to pay the money and NOT see them. Take that for what it is.
