Excellent church. They really help the community, the city of Azusa, and beyond. Redeemed Life Church is multicultural and a multi generational church. The pastor and his wife are very approachable and genuinely caring, unlike other churches where the congregation is not allowed to speak to the pastor such as Calvary Chapel. Dr. Anthony Powell's messages are engaging, spirit filled and practical biblical teaching. He is also a college professor. Redeemed Life Church has an excellent children's program and Celebrate Recovery program on Thursday nights They have two services and parking in the back of the church. Went to Service This past Sunday and enjoyed it. The people were friendly and welcoming. I liked that they had child care available.

Very strange to write a review of a church on Yelp. But had it not been for my wife looking for a church on a Sunday morning... and the fact that they had an online service starting in a few minutes, we may never have found RLC. I am a preacher's kid... sadly that exposes you to a lot of drama and politics that have nothing to do with church, or faith in God. As such, I set what may have been unrealistic goals for finding a church. It only took 2 decades... and Covid 19 to create the environment where we could 'sample' a church without physically going. And we found home. The inclusiveness, the warm hearts, the message, the Pastors/staff... the PEOPLE! I honestly believed that such a place could no longer exist in such a divided, and angry 2020 world. One thing that was 'the big draw' for us is their outreach locally. In addition to operating a food pantry, there is ministry to the homeless who live in the riverbed, or on the streets. We saw these people here everyday, wondering if anyone was ministering to them... and RLC does! My wife and I got involved almost immediately. Not just being fed the word of God, but also reaching out to those who are lost and hungry, right here in our backyard. Given recent events across our country, we got to experience 'in real time' putting God's word first. Unequivocably. Yes, I am rambling... I know. Even today, the outpouring of love from this 'family' is such a blessing in our lives. I speak to those who have had the experience in life I have in churches. Hope is not lost. Such a place does exist. And it is right here in Azusa at Redeemed Life Church. You can either be the traditional 'Sun and Dun' church goer, or get involved much deeper. Check out a Sunday service on either Facebook or Youtube (at 10AM or 12PM). No strings attached. Watch in the comfort of your own home. We discovered this church on Palm Sunday... and have not missed anything since. So grateful to have these people in our lives, and to be welcomed so lovingly. read more

Pastors Anthony & Bonnie are the most down to earth people you will ever meet, who simply love Jesus and want to love others. The services are under 2 hours and filled with sound doctrine, along with some of the best worship ever, and even bits of comic relief in the form of musical snippets. On top of all of the goodness listed above, this church serves COFFEE!!! Before service (ummm..yeah, you can enjoy it while getting your word in) and even after service during lunch. Yeah....lunch. Redeemed Life Church is a blessing God knew me and my family needed. From the moment we received an invitation in the mail, just felt God saying welcome home. When you walk in, the ushers greet you with the most amazing hugs and huge smiles. Worship takes you a bit closer to heaven and the pastors can PREACH!!!! Just so thankful to be part of a congregation that believes in community by Reaching the Lost, Loving the Broken and Caring like Christ. Blessings and peace, you would not be disappointed attending a service. there is a purpose for everyone, why not experience this beautiful church. Heretical. Unholy. In active rebellion. Wicked. Unpenitent. Apostate: The pastors are a married couple, so they can put themselves both on payroll (an income scam) despite that The Holy Bible (KJV) says that women shouldn't be pastors. I called the wife (partnering "pastor" Bonnie) on this point, to repent and quit to be in line with God's Word but in rebellion, apparently she has not. (I even told her that she can continue ministering in programs to support her husband.) Although they bring good community service, that's not the only thing that God looks for in His church. (He looks for obedience.) I checked them out once and couldn't believe my eyes. Those attending were enjoying fellowship but are technically, financially supporting open rebellion. (They should find another church, one that's honors who they really should be there for: God.) I can't attend a church that is willfully, abusively being led by those in active opposition in God's will for His church by shirking their leadership roles and doing it "their way" instead. God rewards the faithful. (I put my trust in that and found a better church in the same general vicinity (Spirit of Life Bible Church)... one that's trying to do things rightly "verse by verse" whose pastors welcome criticism in humility, willing to repent if wrong, the way pastors ought to.) Isn't our priority supposed to be God and not distractions????! If you're in quarantine, I recommend the "Real Bible Believers" channel on YouTube for more accurate pastoring. You'd have to be a really undereducated to keep attending that church! God demands that He's the priority, so encourage everyone else to leave and look for a decent church! read more

I have been at Redeemed Life for 13 months, and I can say with confidence that it is the most welcome I have ever felt at a church since I became a Christian many years ago. The people who make up this congregation have such a noticeable desire for unity, and I see that God is growing a communal heart for the city of Azusa literally as each week passes. Since the moment we walked in over 4 years ago we know this was going to be our home church. Can I say the following: People are welcoming, caring and genuinely have a heart for others. Yes it is true! But on top of the general stuff this church truly gives and pours out Love towards it congregation and bunches towards the local community. Started coming here a few years back. They accept anyone and treat them like family. Came in broken and confused, and although they loved me that way, they didn't let me stay there. Pastors Anthony and Bonnie have helped me through some incredibly difficult times, and have accepted me as a single mother and have loved on my son as if he was theirs. I new this place was right for me the moment I wondered in, I can honestly say, I was blown away! The Pastors are a husband and wife duo and are amazing. This church has an awesome worship team so be prepared to really make a connection with God. The community here is so inviting, I knew from my second visit I would call this place home. Redeemed Life church just has this really down to earth and loving vibe, and welcomes everyone to come as they are. The incredible atmosphere makes it so easy to focus on letting the spirit take control of you. The churches has the most powerful slogan that really hits the nail on the head of what a church should be all about, "Reach the lost, Love the broke, and Care like Christ," and they stand by it to the T! Now this church IS NOT your ordinary church! It is so much more, RLC has a comedian/actor/rockstar as pastors, you will have a good laugh every week!
