This here was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. We brought our espresso…read moremachine to ecowater systems to get it checked through by one of their espresso machine service technicians. We told them straight off the bat that it did not heat up properly because the hot water control lamp would not come off. We were especially interested to know if it was worth the repair at all since a new boiler would have been really pricey. We communicated this all in great detail. The technician took a look and told us it was the water pump that was broken and that we should order the spare part so that he could replace it. Already on the phone I asked him specifically: Are you sure this will fix the water heating problem? We had never experienced a pump issue to this point. He said a new pump would be a good start and that the machine is overall in good shape and totally worth to be fixed. I thought, OK he is the expert and ordered a new pump for $40. A week after we had dropped off the spare part we were told everything was repaired and ready for pick up. In addition to the $40 for the new pump we paid $170 for labor (he said it took him longer than expected). At home we found out that the technician had not returned all the parts including the porter filter so we could not even test the machine. OK, stuff like that can happen. So, after several phone calls and another ride to the store we finally were ready to make a coffee and were surprised to realize that the machine could not even be switched on. Indeed, every time we tried to start the machine it blew all our breakers in the kitchen instead. So, after again several phone calls we carried the machine back to the shop. It turned out the technician had not bothered to check if the machine works after the 'repair'. It took other countless phone calls (not a single time they called us or returned a call) to finally get the information that the machine can be switched on again but that they had realized that there was something wrong with the heater and it would not quite reach the water temperature! I seriously thought they must be kidding and had to sit down to digest this piece of information. The single and only reason why we had carried it in in the first place was never been fixed or even worked on. Same status after 6 weeks, with five rides to the shop that is not around the corner, countless phone calls and $210 later. The very rude owner ('we did not force you to bring your espresso machine to our shop') did not even give us a full refund. Bottom line is we paid $90 for a still not heating up espresso machine, have two functional espresso machine water pumps instead and felt treated like annoying beggars. What a disastrous experience.

Someone named Rob Sinner was their tech at the time and he came and worked on furnaces (3 of them) in our apartments in a rental house. I had some background in gas furnace work, so was not ignorant as most women are expected to be. I was told by Rob Sinner that two of the furnaces had cracked heat exchangers, and he pointed to a crack on a silver plate that one could see near the holes where flames were visible. He gave me a $4500 estimate to replace just one furnace. I called Gary back in, and he said, "Those are just plates attached over top of the heat exchanger, and you have no problem here, there are not any cracks in your heat exchanger. So there you have it folks... if you look like a sucker, you'll be given misinformation to get you to prematurely buy a new gas furnace. I've never since used Lazer heating.

I will never recommend this company for anyone. Expensive and not reliable. Worked on air…read moreconditioner and and they admitted the could not find the problem. Paid a total of $522.00 and they never found the leak. First visit last about 30 minutes. Michael claimed second visit was about an hour and half so charged me for two hours ($180.00).
