At a quick glance driving by, it looks like they could do a range of things like plants, hardware, some sort of old fashioned wares. But no, I eventually made the effort to stop by and they actually sell New Zealand themed foods and produce. The store is lovely, really different exterior. It looks a bit like something from the outback. To give you an idea, they sell a range of biscuits, drinks, jams, sauces plus some All Blacks merchandise and New Zealand brand grocery items.

They have fresh meat and a huge range of juicy cuts. Really tender steaks. Meats on Mains have a smoke house actually on premises. Some of the produce includes lamb, hams, wagyu beef and hormone free poultry. Daniel is THE Meat Tray specialist and can also do bulk orders and home delivery. He is always up for a chat and takes the time to know his regular customers.

There are activities for kids too, so they don't get bored while you shop. If you aren't from the bayside it's a nice Sunday drive to Cleveland, with a few nice nice pubs and waterside parks around for a leisurely lunch out or fish and chips in the park afterwards.

Did the COVID formalities and ordered coffee and croissant. The coffee came promptly and the croissant was not too far behind. The coffee was fair for a cafe. There is a good choice of menu items and some are GF and / vegan. The few diners seemed happy enough. Passable.

We also tried the Espresso Bliss which I didn't love, I can't say why, I don't know why. The Banana-Rama which I did love. The Old School Vanilla which I enjoyed. And the Woah Melon I loved.
