I always expect to wait at dmv- but it's not a bad wait in Redmond. Everyone who has ever helped me has been friendly and nice!

Every time I've been to this location our business has been taken care of quickly and smoothly. I have been impressed! I have had many bad experiences of just waiting at other locations. This one I've been served with in 5-10 minutes and back to my day. Love it! read more

My first time writing a review on Yelp due to this DMV. Rude employees that made it their mission not to give you plates for your vehicle. I had to ask for their manager who told the employee that she was wrong and to give me my plates because I had all the correct documents. She then overheard another gentlemen next to us and decided to roll her eyes at his questions. I will never return to this DMV again. read more

I'm not sure exactly when they moved locations, but they have since the last time I went to the DMV. This new location is bigger, cleaner, quicker, has more parking space... overall it was a good move! I've had longer waits at the Redmond DMV at the old location but I gotta say I was really impressed the last time I was in. I wasn't the only person there, and others were being helped at the same time, but my number was called almost immediately. I just had to get a new ID since mine had expired. I grabbed the form and filled it out and there was no waiting time between that and having them take me to get my picture taken. My temporary ID was printed and I was on my way. I swear this all took less than 5 minutes. Couldn't believe it. I also got my permanent ID in the mail much quicker than expected (not sure how much control they have over that, if any, but still appreciated). Definitely recommend this DMV over the others in surrounding areas. Even before the new location I've always been pleased with them and have never had any MAJOR issues or complaints, but I definitely think the move was a good step up too in many ways. read more

I took a drive test and the skinny white lady didn't pay attention to me at all, there was a car parked too far away from the curb when I was turning and she marked me for going into the other lane, she marked me for backing up without looking (I have a backup camera and a blind spot mirror), she said she understood that I was nervous and then on our way back I passed a very green light and she then automatically failed me because I passed under it as it turned yellow, I pulled into the parking lot and she told me I needed to stay in my lane when there were no lanes or markers and only room for one car I WOULDNT GO HERE FOR YOUR DRIVE TEST read more

Wow what a nice experience!! Greeted with a smile and friendly chat. Took a number and was immediately called to the counter! No waiting and was finished in 15 minutes or so ( new license application) .. much better than past experiences! read more

Where do I even start. The supposed manager that was working doesn't know how to do her job and clearly doesn't know how her employees operate their jobs either. My roommate went in to take his drivers test and failed on his part, the problem begins when the manager tells me that my roommate is stuck at Lowe's and that they had already sent someone to go pick up his instructor and left him there with the car he legally cannot drive by himself. The unskilled manager comes up to me and tells me I need to find a way to go and pick up my roommate and my car 3 miles down the road so all of a sudden it's my problem. They told me no one could switch seats and drive them back and so I was shit out of luck and had to go find him. Later on the instructors had him drive back without anyone in the car with him which is illegal because the other two were in the car he was following back to the dmv while the whole time I'm out looking for him. This DMV clearly doesn't know how to be professional and clearly needs someone who can actually run the place. There will be legal action the next time they tell someone to do something illegal and act like they didn't tell them to. Also I will note that the second time we went in to complain the manager had taken her name tag off so we wouldn't be able write her name down. Very unprofessional. read more
