I'll never forget finding the perfect 2 BR 1800 sqft condo in Diamond Heights with a cliff-side glass panoramic wall overlooking the downtown skyline and the San Francisco bay within budget. Though the property was on the older side and required some TLC, it had aged gracefully over the decades and had all the potential in the world. Robin crunched the numbers and told me it may be within the realms of possibilities so we started the process moving forward. Well, the condo ended up selling for $700k above asking shortly afterwards. That was a heartbreak Shakespeare couldn't top. Though I was an emotional wreck, Robin was able to pick me back up and move on (eventually). We started looking at condos like crazy afterwards. Eventually we found a neat 865 sqft 1br 1.5 bath loft with a private balcony overlooking downtown that I am now proud to call home. None of this would have been possible without Robin's relentless perseverance and unwavering support. Seriously. I was overwhelmed by the mortgage process. Going back and fourth between the lender, the underwriter, escrow, and everyone in between, there were times I was ready to give up and return to a life of avocado toast in my mother's basement.
