This is the 2nd time I've used Red's, This time was a internal move w/in my apt. Building... these guys are PROS!!!!! I'm temporarily confined to a wheelchair due to a injury but they moved all my furniture exactly where my mom & I asked them to place them ... & if we changed our mind on a place they did not hesitate to ask twice. Had a terrific experience with Red's. Was moving my elderly father out of a stand-alone home into a senior apartment complex. We had a small number of large pieces, but Dad had accumulated tons of stuff and so access to the items wasn't easy. The Red's team not only worked fine with that, but they were incredibly kind about the whole situation. They were prompt, efficient, polite, engaged Dad to make him feel more at ease, were careful with our items (several were very heavy because, for instance, Dad hadn't emptied his clothes dresser), and very responsive on the other end in making sure everything was placed where he wanted it. The price was super reasonable and the service was stellar. Cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. They were running late which happens. 2 hours later I call for an update because it's well over the 45 minutes. They arrive almost 3 hours late and are short a person. We already unpacked most of the truck. Mind you there was a deadline to get the moving truck back. The owner Jim was barking at me for instructions the entire time. They barely did anything, owner was rude, the other gentleman was nice, and they still charged the full amount. I wouldn't refer this company to my Grandmother. read more

Although the guys were on time, they wouldn't wear their masks while in my home even after I asked them 3 times. Also, they broke a peice off my treadmill and just didn't tell me. read more

There was a winter storm that was expected late morning on a Saturday. I spoke to the company several times to confirm that they would arrive early that day in order to get the work done prior to the storm arriving. In fact, we moved the arrival time up an hour to make sure of this. This was a small move that was expected to only take a couple hours. 15 minutes before the arrival time, they called me to tell me that they wouldn't be coming. This put us in a very bad position because we had to be out of the apartment by the next day. There was no accommodation to reschedule to meet our deadline and zero communication as to what alternatives they had to complete the move. Very unreliable and very unprofessional. read more

Horrible customer service. I was replacing my furnitures. I called to find out if they can help me move my furniture from my house and bring in new ones. I was in a bit of pickle and needed to move the furnitures to my house that day. As I was speaking to the man who picked up the phone, I can hear someone laughing really loud to the point it was disruptive to I was saying. Mind you, I wasn't even on the phone more than a minute and he was asking me basic questions such as when the move date is and where it was being moved to. I felt disrespected. It's highly unprofessional to have someone laugh at the customers, specially when they can hear you. It was Memorial Day and I am sure they were packed. Simple no would have sufficed. Needless to say I will never do business with them. read more

They were hired to move my antique radios and TV's out of a 7' x 14' room for appraisal by another company. They caused damage to many pieces and refused to put all the items back in the room the way they were because " it would take too long" . The pieces were very sloppily thrown in the room. They did not use care in handling the pieces and when I said something to them, they were quite rude. I don't recommend them to anyone! read more

We set up the appointment quickly over the phone. He came over on a Saturday morning. He spent time explaining so much about pianos that we never knew. He even talked the risk/ benefit of investing into this piano such as string replacements or even moving it. He explain how quickly a piano can turn into a money pit when you start replacing piece by piece. He offered to replace a string for free that was broken or to let us try it as we continue to just learn how to play. He tuned the piano for a vey reasonable price, accepting cash or check. We were incredibly happy with his service and knowledge. We were also delighted to listen to him play some wonderful jazz style music. He is quite talented. I was very happy with his service. I had my childhood piano shipped from my mother's home when she passed away. This piano has been…read morethrough at least 15 moves and hasn't been tuned up to A440 in likely close to 20 years. Plus, some of the keys were sticking from the movers storing it on its side in the move (BAD for pianos) and the foot pedals were wonky. Really, it would have been much cheaper and easier if I had just bought a new piano, but this one has ivory keys and is the one I grew up with, so I wanted it to work. Eric understood my reasoning for wanting to salvage the piano. He was very knowledgeable and gave me options and the prices for each. He didn't suggest that I replace the action - not because it couldn't be replaced, but because he didn't think that the increase in the sound would be worth the price. When I said I wanted it brought up to A440 instead of tuned to itself, he warned me that this would mean several tunings to keep it in tune as the strings stretched and that we might break a strong or two along the way (thankfully we didn't). He was professional, courteous, and very capable. The piano has been through two tunings now and is ready for its third. There has been much less slippage than I had thought there would be and it has held its tune better than either of us expected. I am very pleased with the service I've received from Eric. I'll be using him in the future and referring him everyone who will listen!

It was badly out of tune, but mechanically sound. Although he's located an hour away, he was working in my area and agreed to tune the piano for the flat price quoted on his website: $100. He spent almost three hours bringing everything gently into tune, then buffed the felts (which improved the tone to an amazing degree). But that was only after a full inspection, and an offer to either tune it as-is for his stated price, or make some needed repairs for only a small amount more. If this piano was for serious use, his offer would have been more than generous, but he understood that it's just for casual use and visitors playing. We talked about bringing it up to concert pitch, but the 90 year old strings had some rust spots, so in the interest of safety he tuned it exactly a half tone flat. The only reason I don't give him five stars, is because I'm not a piano player, so I can't rate him fully. But, I highly recommend his services for anyone in northern New Hampshire. You can't beat the price, and I highly doubt you'll beat the service.

He also evaluated our aging roof and skylights. Instead of selling us a new roof and skylights (which he easily could have done ... we wouldn't know otherwise), he saved us thousands by being honest. He made a few repairs, secured the ridge vent, caulked a few spots, replaced some nails with screws, and said we should be just fine. Bill, Pete and crew moved us out of our house of 28 years and in to the new place in 8 hours. Crazy to watch them in action...they really know their stuff! I busted up my foot two days before the move, so I could have been better packed, should have made some boxes lighter and some heavier, should better labeled boxes...it would have made it faster. They were kind to my plight and worked with what I had gotten done. They moved my furniture in, laid the throw carpets, placed furniture exactly where I wanted it and set up the bed. At the end of the day, I felt like like we were home...with the exception of the 50+ boxes left to unpack. read more

I bought a very large and heavy table and 6 chairs from Mardens with no idea how to get home. There is no way I could lift this thing. Mardens recommended Reds Moving. I called and the were able to move it the very next day. They picked it up at Mardens and brought it right in my home and set it in place. Table and chairs were very well covered when delivered. Workers put moving blankets on my deck, over the railings. Very professional, will definitely use again. We highly recommend them. read more
