Redwing Dental Care is simply unparalleled! I was there for a routine cleaning this week and was very satisfied and pleased with the result. Since I have been using Redwing, my overall dental health has improved exponentially, thanks to the exceptional staff and cutting-edge technology, both in terms of diagnosis and treatment, that they utilize. My hygienist, Bri, is far and away the most professional, effective, and seasoned (and utterly determined!) young woman who has ever cleaned my teeth. I might add that she is more than a little witty and kept me entertained and, when no sharp instrument was poking around in my mouth, laughing during the now "easy peasy" process. She is greatly appreciated. Dr. Anan is a brilliant young woman and a fine dentist. She doesn't merely treat her patients in an obligatory fashion; I wholeheartedly believe she genuinely cares, and she does whatever is required to improve the overall dental health of all who are fortunate to find her. Lucky we are! The sterling administrative "team," Cayleigh, Sharon, and Amy invariably extend abundant kindness, warmth and sheer professionalism when I am in the office. They are a most cohesive trio, and the manner in which they manage the operations of the office is truly remarkable. As a former Marine, this warms my heart! Indeed, their structure, discipline, and teamwork transport my memory to those military days of yore. They are all utterly wonderful people as well. Update: I've been seeing a new dental service and they have found nothing wrong with my teeth. I've come to realize that Red Wing is a scam office. They did unnecessary procedures on me just for the money. They would try and manipulate me into thinking something was wrong but since my last review my teeth have been fine. Maybe things have changed since then at RWD but be very cautious or invest somewhere else. read more

Don't let the pretty tile and free grab bag mislead. I would only send an enemy to this dentist to surely ruin their day, because not only did the dentist. Alexandra lack patient communicaton skills in any manner she crossed the line of being rude to actually scaring me during my filling making it out to be way worse than this was to me to the point i did not return ever again due to a disagreement over my personal usage of a homeopathic medicine named propolis. I made an appointment there telling them full what the reason for my visit was. They took my appointment and I came in on time as asked. The dentist took one look at it for a few minutes and told me he did not want to do it and referred me somewhere else. Then a week later I get a call telling me my insurance did not pay and that I must pay the bill in full. So I am being charged for something they did not do and probably knew they were not going to do but took the appointment so I could get charged. read more

Worst experience ever!! High pressure sales tactics based on a false diagnosis. Used car salesman masquerading as dentists. They tried to get a signature for $4k (as I sat in the chair) in unnecessary treatment through their in-house financing. I refused to sign. The $80 cleaning turned into $260. I went to another dentist and had one small cavity that cost $275 to fix. I will be informing the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

The up-selling is persistent throughout the whole ordeal. My first cleaning experience six months ago was pleasant. Then at the second cleaning I was warned that my teeth were going to fall out; the hygienist even pushed my teeth back and forth to show how loose they were. I didn't believe him but I wasn't going to argue. He recommended a "deep cleaning." Beware! I was charged $780 for this "deep cleaning" which should have consisted of two hours of scaling and root planing, which were never brought up. Instead, my "deep cleaning" was a regular cleaning that lasted 20 minutes. When I asked what was the difference between a regular cleaning and a "deep cleaning," I was told the difference was that he targeted certain areas. I've contacted my insurance company to complain how Redwing Dental is scamming their patients. read more

I failed to post a review following our initial exams here several months ago. I brought my then 5 year old, my 2 year old for her first exam, and I was also seen. The hygienist and dentist were absolutely wonderful with my kids! I would recommend this practice based on that experience. Only giving 4 of 5 stars as the receptionist Ellie is quite dismissive on the phone and made me feel as if I was a bother to her with my questions. we left this practice bc of unscrupulous financial schemes-the last one was my daughter's dentist wasn't there the day she had her 6 month appointment-instead they gave her a different dentist that had not been credentialed through our insurance yet-but they DID NOT TELL US THIS. her appointment was made 6 months before-another incident with my husband's care in which they overcharged us 244$, I did get back after 8 months of back and forth with them and our insurance. so I left the $$ in an account there to use for my daughter's future care-but they found a way to use it up by charging us $$ for their mistakes! for 90$ they let a patient go that will need braces at some point and care/cleaning every 6 months-very disappointed in their customer service! sad-as my daughter liked the female dentist she saw-if and when she was there. one time she had a cleaning, and the dentist had left early so she never even saw her-but I let that go too-third time mess up was the last-and I even would've stayed if they took responsibility for their error...$90! Still waiting for the rest of our refund in the mail-looking for a new dentist too! My husband is a teacher in Antioch public schools and I will make sure NOT to recommend this place to anyone I can spread the news to! read more

I find it very interesting what Debbie wrote because I also had the same problem but with another dentist and I just recently went to Redwing Dental and my husband had went there before COVID19 and he paid money out of pocket and our insurance paid to well when I went they said there was a credit of $320.00 from June now mind you this is October I said why weren't we notified about the insurance paying she said oh we called your husband and left a message so I told my husband about it he said oh BS nobody called me so what if I didn't make an appointment there ?? They would've kept the money??? Most places write out a check and send it to you not keep it!!!!! Shame On Them!!!! And also I really didn't care for there dental work which was just an exam but didn't explain much of course all about the money !!! read more

I never had a bad experience till this past Thursday. I got my Invisalign anchors put in. The dental assistant was in a rush to get finished that she Nicked me a few times. I said, "ow," and she said, "oh did that hurt?" I mean really? Shortly after that, she was using the explorer to chip off the extra composite. when it started to accumulate, she didn't suction it out or give me a rinse. I had to ask each time. After she was finished and had tried my trays, Dr jacobs came in. Mind you every time I came in for an appointment, he would mention that I have peg laterals, that I should really think about getting veneers. My answer was always no. Well anyways I guess he thought my answer would be different this time. So as he was looking, he mentioned that we need to schedule for veneers and that I should really consider changing my crown on #8! I looked at him and said, "what? I got this crown 2 years ago and it's still good." He responded with, " well I just don't like it, for cosmetic reasons." I got instant red flags. Another incident was when I came in for a cleaning. Towards the end of my cleaning dr jacobs asked the hygienist to put a note to have one of my first molars get a filling done, which he recently filled a month ago. I had amalgam prior to getting it worked on. So it's not uncommon for your tooth to have a slight discoloration aka amalgam tattoo. read more

I would give this place a "-10"!! Months ago I went to Red Wing Dental as I received a postcard in the mail, thought I would try it out. The place was beautiful the waiting room had a fancy area with a refrigerator of free water, etc. After what felt like 1.5-2 hours of a ton of xrays, the snooty dentist came in, laughed at my medical history mentioning my heart problem, said she'd never heard of my diagnosis then informed me I needed deep cleaning, $1000 for each half of the mouth done on 2 different visits, and I had 5 cavities. I said no to any services and said I would not continue this appointment and I wanted to leave. They had all my insurance info, then this secretary person walked into the room, got mad and angry and tried to stop me from leaving, it was very scary, like something you'd see on TV. They wouldn't let me leave until I signed a treatment plan they had printed up on a computer, I said no I am not signing anything I don't want treatment here, she said again a 2nd time told me I could not leave without signing this treatment plan and stood in front of me to block me from exiting the room, so I signed "Refused treatment" so I could leave the building. Very, very scary, I thought I was going to have to call the police to leave the building. I felt like what they did to me was criminal, like I was being held against my will. It took me a year to be brave enough to try another dentist, so I went to a small dentist association in the new town I moved to, xrays done in 30 minutes, entire staff super sweet people, dentist as well, NO CAVITIES, regular cleaning and a great price. read more

I did not have a good experience at Red Wing Dental. The office in Antioch Illinois is very unprofessional and they really don't know what they're doing. They were charging my wrong insurance card so I was paying all this money out of pocket. When I realized they were charging the wrong insurance card they said that they will give me my money back for one service which was $185, which I got my money back for. But I've paid thousands in the past year or 2. I complained to their corporate office and Britney took my complaint and she said to call Ramon the office manager at Red Wing Antioch office so I did and she said there's nothing else they could do for me. She said several people at corporate looked over my paperwork for the past year-and-a-half to and said I do not get any more money back. I don't understand why they charged the wrong insurance company so I paid a ton of money out of my pocket. I'm not through with them I will be hiring a lawyer that's how bad it was. I'm still missing two teeth on my bottom left side of my mouth it is just awful I can't afford to see a dentist right now I'm on disability. And they won't budge. They made the mistake they won't admit it so I'll need to find a lawyer or hopefully I could find someone pro bono. Look for another review in the future. read more

this was my first visit to a dentist in 8 years due to poor service from my last dentist, so i was a little leary about a new dentist. From the moment i made my first call for an appointment i was treated like family. the best customer service i can remember experiencing. when i arrived for my appointment all the staff introduced themselves buy first name. WOW, within the first few minutes we were all on a first name basis-IMPRESSIVE. the rest of the visit only got better from there. the doctors showed a genuine concern about my visit. they offered me options instead of saying -this is how it needs to be done. i kept my next appoint and even though there was a scheduling issue i was told that was our problem not yours so come on in. again-IMPRESSED. when i arrived i was greeted and then the fun began. i was made to feel relaxed and that instilled confidence. i after the visit was completed i actually looked forward to making my next appointment. TRUE PROFESSIONALS!!!!!! the next day i received a call from the doctor, not the office staff, to see how i was. he showed genuine concern and offered my advise. i cant say enough about this practice but i would advised anyone needing dental work to check them out. it will be well worth the visit !!!
