That other lawyer was able to get the result necessary. When I confronted her about the error in a very respectful manner asking for partial recompense to help pay for the new counsel, she denied the mistake and even went so far as to suggest my dissatisfaction was because she "wouldn't promise me the result I wanted". This is simply untrue, because for nearly one year, that exact result, she told us was not an option for the charges my son had, and that only reduced charges could make him eligible (which she also was unable to secure).Without the good fortune of finding this information elsewhere, my son would be a convicted felon.
