Both my children learn piano here, and they have had wonderful experiences there. They have a lot of teachers there, so they have all the spectrums covered for different students, whether you plan to become a maestro in the future, or as a hobby and play for fun. The teachers we have work very well with younger children and it is evident in the motivation my children have to continue learning even after 3 years+. I love it that they have 2 recitals every year. It gives my children some lofty goal to shoot for and a chance to push themselves and showcase what they learn - in a fun way. read more

Very dishonest administrative staff. If you are late by 1min in sending your email for a makeup lesson, they will charge you. Your kid will have multiple conflicts during the course of the tuition due to school activities, you being busy and not being able to notify them in time etc. But, this school is very stringent, once again "very" stringent with their policy. They don't care about you or your family from a personal standpoint regardless of how many months or years you have been with them. Because they just don't care. They have the pride that there is demand for them due to their wait list and not many schools nearby and they use that against you to grab your money for missed classes. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I faced this issue with them innumerable times. Just find a private instructor online or elsewhere. There are many excellent tutors outside this school as well. read more

James Mahoney is WONDERFUL. He is so great with young kids. He's fun, patient, gentle, great at refocusing and teaching.

Quick take: awesome staff and music teachers Reeder is conveniently located in a shopping plaza. Easily can drop your student off and run a quick errand at Safeway. We were able to work out our schedules during the summer and schedule back to backlessons. One stop for the whole family. We have awesome teachers too. I highly recommend this music academy to anyone living close by. read more

Went in to inquire about Piano lessons turns out they are full..as in not taking any more new students. But i was also informed that they are expanding, they took over store space right next door and will be renovating in the coming months, they're also hiring more music teachers. The lady was very nice explaining everything to me, didnt just turn me away. Fees seem reasonable for lessons. I left my contact info as she said they'll give me a call when everything is up and running.. GREAT! Until then, we'll be trying out other studios.... My kid took piano lessons at Reeder Music for 2 years. The teachers (especially Josh) and staff are great and we enjoyed the recitals. Their rates were reasonable and their make up policy is great (much better than other music places). I highly recommend Reeder Music. read more

We just bought a new Kawai K-300 piano from Jason, the owner of Reeder Music Academy. It's a great experience! From used piano, to not expensive brand new, Jason advised us on every aspect of the piano. He knows piano so well, and we believe he is the best person to talk with when buying a piano. He spent several hours showing us unique sounds on different pianos, cons and pros of each one, checking inventory until we finally got to the one we really liked. He is friendly, responsible, and knows everything on Kawai piano. I'd like to tell everyone to talk to him if you want to buy a piano. He is the best person you can talk to. read more

Douglas is a wonderful piano teacher. He makes the lesson fun and positive. This school offers two recitals a year at no cost to parents hosted at nearby local venues. They keep all the lesson books in stock for purchase. We are pretty happy here. read more
