They had the nerve to offer her $3000 dollars for a trade in, so she demanded her keys and was going to go to Toyota. they then turned around and offered her $6000. she was so disgusted she took it and got a Civic. when I home I looked at reviews on the Clarity and saw that she was not the only one to have Transmission issues with that car. Funny Right !! The best is I took my Nephew to pick up his car because he had a repair done on it. when leaving the parking lot I saw her car driving out onto Route 1.Someone was test driving it. My Sister looked it up and they are selling it for $18,000. this car was taken very good care of by my sister. it was serviced consistently . Well as soon as you put your information (even if you put the wrong phone number or email address because you don't want to be harassed) into the website and unlock your terms for the vehicles drive time STILL manages to get your actual phone number and they will call you right away. I generally hang up on them. Like I said I was just browsing and seeing what I am eligible for when I am ready to purchase a vehicle. Just because I put my information into the website does not mean I want you to call me right away, that is why I put my wrong phone number and wrong email, but I still manage to get harassed.

I was in a bind and needed a car asap. I now have an agronomical loan-to-value (LTV) ratio meaning I owe $11, 000 thousand more than the car is even worth today. They focused entirely on the 'monthly payment' to distract me from the total loan amount and the 84-month term they locked me into. This is predatory lending at its worst. I left thinking I got a deal, but I'm now financially trapped in a car that I can't sell or trade without coming up with over $10,000 out of pocket. Do yourself a favor and bring your own financing from a credit union--do not trust their 'in-house' math."
