They were very efficient. No wasted movement. It was like a well choreographed dance. They were very respectful of all the other trees and plantings and they cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were here. I would definitely use them again.

Other companies were quick to advise me that certain other trees needed to be taken down in order to access the 3 large pines we wanted to be removed for safety reasons. I was extremely pleased that Jon was able to "think outside the box", coming up with a way to remove the large pines without taking out other trees. I knew at that moment that he was the man for the job! The cost was quite reasonable and the time of year (Feb '22) didn't deter them from doing the work in a timely, efficient manner. Timmy, the foreman, and his crew cut down 5 trees ( 2 were oak) in all, showing much skill in operating the crane and other equipment in very tight quarters. Before leaving for the day, they did a thorough job cleaning the yard. I also appreciated the crew taking the time to show me the red rot and/or cracks they discovered in the pine tree trunks, along with an explanation, once they were taken down. The service they provide is exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future tree work!

Wilcox just removed a large Maple (36"+) close to my home along with trimming a number of dead…read morelimbs along my driveway. They did an outstanding job, greatly exceeding my expectations! I was impressed by their professionalism and teamwork (by a crew of four, utilizing built-in radios in their helmets for communications). They did an excellent job cleaning the slash and stacking logs to be processed for firewood. They showed up on time and completed the job in four hours, including a trip back to their shop to bring in a tracked excavator. I've worked with two other tree service companies and Wilcox is by far a "monadnock" by comparison, both in terms of performance and cost. Wilcox will be my "go-to" company for all future tree work! He explained everything to me and the price was more than fair. He mentioned he also did hardscaping which I was badly in need of in need of. He pulled tree stumps, installed a patio, a front walk, regraded my drive way and built a berm to prevent flooding, and installed a drainage system in my formerly very muddy yard. All the work is flawless! He is takes pride in his work and it shows.

It was low pressure, we didn't have someone following us around to see if we liked every tree. It was a little underwhelming at first but the deeper back we went the more we liked the trees. Lots of character unlike most places you can get a tree. And even if you don't want to cut down your own tree there are a lot of varying and reasonably priced options for cut trees. I am not familiar with the work they do for landscaping but if it is anything close to how kind and accommodating they are selling trees and wreaths then we would highly recommend them.
