I would highly recommend this guide service if your looking for Crappie fishing in Mississippi. The equipment was clen and well maintained and the instruction was on point and patient. Had a hell of a fish fry last night. Good eaten!! I also stayed in their lodging while on my trip it was very clean and very new. Usually Grenada is nothing more than a stop off location to gas up my car and stretch my legs on my…read moreway to Tennessee or Arkansas. I decided i was tired of driving and decided to spend the night here. While scrolling through Yelp, i came across Grenada lake so I drove through Grenada Lakes early this morning. There are numerous day use turn ins where you can grill and picnic. Almost all have a view of the lake. A couple of them also have playgrounds for the kids. There's a relatively large playground structure near the visitors center. The lake was high so the beach are was closed but it looks like a nice area to swim. I saw deer at many of my stops and heard an abundance of birds chirping. I will be back when I have more time to spend here.

Day use fee area and campers only after 9 pm. Variety of flora and fauna. There is poison ivy and MS does have 9 venomous snakes, I would guess there are cottonmouth a here. Heard lots of birds in the canopy. Terrain is hilly and thickly forested...after all....it is Tombigbee National Forest!

I have some medical issues and they went far beyond what I expected to make you comfortable . They want you to have fun and catch Plenty of Fish and we did .
