Wow, I was so impressed upon pulling up with the bright sign to know you are at the Reel Inn and Lodge then walking into the room you could tell how much work, sweat, and love was poured into this place by Deborah. I love this place. While catering to mainly people wanting to go fishing, it is a comfortable place where the spouse can stay back and hang out, if desired. There is ample parking for fishing boats. The new owner, Deborah Mushock, has turned this place around. She is an artist and used her talents to make the rooms comfy and clean. Each of the 8 rooms is named after a fish found in Lake Fork. Each room has a small refrigerator and microwave. There is a pavilion for the motel rooms that has picnic tables and grills. In addition to the 8 individual rooms, there is a two bedroom lodge with a large patio. The lodge is tastefully decorated too. There are one of a kind artwork pieces hanging on the walls. The owner lives on the property and is available to answer questions about the area and help if there are any issues. This little gem is close to both Sulfer Springs and Quitman. Both unique and charming small towns. It is close to a public boat ramp on Lake Fork. read more
