With this look on his face like I just asked for all the contents of his cash register. " how's it going?" Says I " oh, yeah" he says - "is this it?" " he says. It's that moment I decided I would never spend another dollar in this place. It's like the tourist trap of retail fish and hunting supply. And don't even get me started on how nasty the female sales gal was 2 weeks ago. I get it you hate working here but I can't help that! Find another job. Go back to school! I hate walking in to a place excited to spend a few dollars on things I need for a weekend of fishing and kinda get the whole good vibes broken by a place like this - Sales Associates? I turned there was another area and there are sale racks in there got some great deals, but I'm telling you there is some amazing unique clothing items. The service is amazing. Of course, like many tourist stores, it is quite kitschy, but I did end up purchasing something here, a Ginger Sage Mist for sprucing up our guest room. It's been a welcome addition to the house. Also, I found the workers here extremely friendly. Note: I did appreciate the purchase summary breaking down the tax cost to the shopper. They include Texas State Tax (6.25%), Aransas County Tax (0.5%), Rockport City Tax (1%), and Aransas County Health Services Tax (0.5%).
