There are really no bad seats - personally I think the standing room only tickets provide a really nice view. We were lucky enough to get second row seats but part of being so far forward was the disadvantage of an obstructed view of some of the far-side of the rink. It would be nice if they got a Jumbotron so you could see instant replays of the goals. Overall, pretty solid rink for a small school. I guess I am used to bigger stadiums such as Michigan Yost arena.

What makes this rink so wonderful is the cool design of the building, the rink is always pristine, the locker rooms are huge and well kept, and the staff is top-notch. Get there earlier and leave early if you don't want traffic! There is multiple street sections that are FREE!! We were lucky enough to park in somebody's driveway for less parking than the venue charged but even with parking at the venue, we've only had to wait a short while for exiting. A little walk isn't that bad! It also depends on WHO is performing. The crowds will be different based on the show so keep that in mind. A Bob Marley tribute had LESS people, HALF the stadium while sublime was SOLD OUT and completely full!! Know your audience!

We went to an Edgar Allen Poe speakeasy event at Lyric Hall and while it is definitively a small…read morevenue the history can be felt immediately upon entering the stage, seating, chandelier, lighting, art all beautiful and reminiscent of a time gone by when places were built with attention to detail by hand. A true treasure.

What an amazingly beautiful historic theatre! We went to the screening of the Twin Peaks pilot last…read morenight. When entering the side door of the theatre I felt like I was going back in time with all 1920's antique furniture, rugs and decor. Absolutely stunning. They kindly ushered us in from the cold and showed us the screening room where old vaudeville acts were performed in days gone by. On the other side of the entry they had refreshments set up, popcorn, which was delicious and drinks. Again I was brought back to a time where hospitality and kindness seemed to be in vogue. The theatre itself is a beautiful small room with chairs on top of an oriental rug facing the old stage. I can not think of a better place to watch a Twin Peaks screening. We can not wait for more screenings! What a treat it was.
