While in Salisbury for business, this was definitely one of my "go to" places. The first time I went, it was the macaroon in the window that caught my eye. They were delicious, cooked to perfection and surprisingly not so sweet I thought my teeth would fall out! The second time I went was with my colleagues for a bite to eat after walking up to Old Sarum. I had a delicious meat pie - again one of window shopping eye catching things - before sitting down upstairs with a cup of tea. Dessert consisted of cherry shortbread (another dessert well worth trying!). The meat pie had delicate pastry on the outside and a delicious beef and mushroom filling on the inside. The last time I went here was for "high tea". If you have never had clotted cream and scones - you MUST get them! Here, the scones were hot out of the oven and served with the oh so delicious clotted cream and fruit jam. It was so good, we had to have two. We won't talk about fat or calories when going here - just walk it off and enjoy! I can honestly say if I am ever anywhere there is a Reeve the Baker, you can bet I will be stopping in! read more

A colleague and I went for an early lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how great the menu was. We shared the sandwich lunch which came with cake and crisps, we couldn't eat it all, but they did put the cake in a doggy bag, so the guys at work were happy . It's very popular as the food and staff are really great, so make sure to get there a little bit earlier to avoid disappointment. read more

While visiting Salisbury (from the U.S.) this was a daily stop for me. It really brings out the flavor of English life - not just in the food but in the culture and atmosphere of a bakery done very well and without huge fuss. Their sausage rolls are excellent, and my wife (who grew up in Salisbury) talks about their pastry twists to this day. If you're in downtown Salisbury you should definitely stop by. read more

Definitely the baker to visit if you're visiting Salisbury! Do a huge selection of cakes and freshly made sandwiches every day. Not the cheapest sandwich shop I've been in, but they are superb and very tasty. They have got some seating in the centre of Salisbury to have a drink and lunch. read more

This is Salisburys finest Bakery and a spot not to miss on a visit to Salisbury! The food is alway made locally and is a talking point of the city. If your looking for freshly made Pastys/Cheese Straws/ cakes/sandwich's or rolls and bread to take home, this is the place to go. The prices are good, the quality is supreme! They have a cafe upstairs where they will serve you tea and coffee and cakes, or even a toasted sandwich or home made soup. Truly, you haven't visited Salisbury if you haven't stopped at Reeves the Baker!! read more

I have to agree that this is the bakers to visit in Salisbury and you can even sit outside in the sun and have a bite to eat at lunch time. I always take a walk past this shop just for the smell of fresh baked bread, it makes you feel alive, even if I do have to avoid the pastries. Yum!! read more

This is a really nice bakery shop in Salisbury, because they sell a variety of cakes, buns, occasion cakes and breads there. The food is very fresh and sometimes you can see the staff taking the pies, etc out from the ovens behind them. It can get very busy in there, during busy hours, however the staff are very efficient in there and work fast to make it less painful in waiting in queues. Situated in town, it is a great place to buy some quick easy light meals to take out for a picnic. read more

We stopped in briefly for take away before we grabbed the train. Everything looked amazing. We split pizza and a beef and mushroom pastry. Both were quite good and the pastry was super flaky and light. We also sampled the chocolate chip shortbread and rhubarb tart. Overall the food was great and inexpensive. read more
