They called me today wanting me to make a follow up appointment. I told them I will not come back and to stop calling me and I hung up. She had the nerve to call me right back and said to give her a minute to talk me. I told her NO STOP CALLING ME. THIS IS HARRASSMENT! Then I hung up. Luckily they did not call back again. Stay away from this they will harass you. FYI I found a different dermatologist that is treated my issue for $45.00 a year. The redness is gone. This place went right to the most expensive medication before trying anything else. Felt very uncomfortable from the minute I walked in the door. Front end was only worried about a missing hundred dollars. I felt like I was just a bothering the entire staff and wasting their time. I just wanted out of there. I waited over two months to be seen and regret going there. Told me my redness in face would not go away. The reason I went there in the first place. Then ptrescribed me medication (one was not covered by insurance. Cost of the medication $596.00 and not going help with the redness). Then what is the point in taking medication if is not going to help. They told me I had to use their mail order services for prescriptions. Did not get to see a doctor for new Patient visit. Tried to sell me a bunch of over counter stuff that I could get else where much cheaper for exact same thing.. They did not even try or give me other options. Then wanted me to buy their insurance. Is a retired acute care RN, I used to have my reservations about this place. I had one "not so…read moregood" experience 4/5 years ado regarding a lesion: interpretation and proposed "lack of treatment." My expressed frustration did some service recovery. The PA - at THAT TIME- under-treated my spouse and myself. There is some new staff NOW and the whole place is redecorated, & the bathrooms are clean &approachable. Yet what matters most is the professional treatment. The NP and Dr. Eliff are very professional & caring. At this time, I have full confidence in this clinic! No time to listen or properly diagnose. Unfortunately they seem to monopolize health care for a 50 mile radius. Worst of all when I inquired of the cost and if my insurance would cover the procedure they said it would be covered they lied to my face. This makes it not a question of morals but a question of making money. The worst thing is they are a monopoly taking control of every office in this town and once you owe them money it is hard to dig out of the hole. They like to hold threats like you have to come up with a certain amount of money to see a doctor. Why would you want to see one of their doctors? Well for a medication refill which they will hold over your head. No medication? CentraCare does not care all they want is to lie and trick you and take money from you no matter the cost. It is worth it to take the train to the Twin Cities and find a doctor with integrity. Do not give Centra Care your patronage.
