He was respectful of the critters, taught us about their history, needs and prospects for release. Regard for nature was demonstrated throughout. The cenote was fantastic, refreshing and beautiful.

We were paired up with a French family and the on site researcher was the only one that spoke French. Which meant we got a true in-depth tour of all the research being done at the sanctuary with students. He spoke about each monkey being rescued and what habits were being worked on with each monkey. We had a great time and all the students were great.

Our biggest success is becoming a home for rescued and donated animals of many other species such as goats, deer, and macaws. Our main goal is to make sure that rescued and donated animals receive the necessary care and attention. Many of the animals living in the sanctuary come from very poor conditions, working for circuses and other attractions.
