This is a great store. I think people's expectation s/b to move furniture quickly without the hassle of dealing w/potential buyers. That is worth money and Rega is deserving of their cut b/c the do move furniture quickly and perform related marketing chores. But a lot of people dont let go of the EMOTIONAL value of their items and get downright offended when their items only command a discounted price. So what if u paid $$$ in 1965? It's only worth $ now! So, decide what your goal will be: move fast or make oodles of $. Also, when u sign consignment agreement, the goods become property of store if unsold after 90 days and u have the option to taking your stuff back if unsold during consignment time. Many unscrupulous stores price high so items don't sell in 90 days, then, after it becomes their property the sell it and keep all the money. REGA does not do that. They are honest and work hard @ moving fast vs holding on for higher price. Staff turnover is very high. Mostly are nice & helpful but sometimes you get a surly idiot. They don't last long. Whether a buyer or a seller, go there with your eyes open. It is a hunt!!! read more

Rega is owned and operated by a fair-minded, tenacious young woman who enjoys her work and is always willing to negotiate, She moves the pieces she accepts to sell, sometimes pricing a little high for used stuff (which is why I removed 1 star).. However, the longer a piece of furniture sits, the less expensive it becomes I have bought a buffet, coffee table, and loads of decor items. The owner always has a sale going, some items 75% off. This was a favorite store of mine for years, but over the last 6 months or so, there have been changes and not for the better! The staff used to be so friendly and helpful, and I always had a pleasant experience. The last three times I visited the store (both locations), the staff was not friendly at all, and on one occasion downright rude. She seemed very upset that I was there and didn't want to get up from her chair to lift a finger. I have bought a LOT of furniture and art here, and have sold some awesome items as well. What a turn for the worse, it's a real shame. Thankfully there are lots of other amazing furniture and consignment shops in town that I will be happy to give my money! read more

This review is my own, not my wife's! EVERY review here is from the point of view of the consumer, NOT the owner of the furniture/whatever. For the last time in my life I brought Rega significant stuff, my 92 year old Mom died I had been caring for for over a year, For example she had a Double Dresser made by Thomasville with nary a scratch on it, made with heavy pine and a beautiful medium finished that was polished on a regular basis by Mom and reflected that care,...........priced at less than $200. Made me sick to my stomach, so I questioned the owner saying that was not a very respectful price! Her concern was getting a quick sale and move it out. I am contacting Churches today looking for famlies needing support in being moved for one reason or another to give Mom's furniture too, where it will be respected and truly appreciated. Rega will never get another item of mine, if I cannot sell it through various means, then I will give it to people who need it, not to someone making a quick buck off of it to people taking advantage of that business model. read more

This is a wonderful little Tyler, TX shop I try to visit every couple of weeks if not more often. The owner, Kate, always gives me at least 10% off. Her staff are consistently friendly and helpful especially Steven. They provide delivery at additional cost. My 94 year old mother and nephew also shop here. I highly recommend checking out Rega of Paris on Broadway. It may be a little hard to find but it's worth it. read more

We shopped here almost a year ago. I found several pieces of furniture and a large rectangular framed mirror for our master bath for only $25!! It looks great in our new home! I'm planning another trip very soon! They have many things marked down by percentage and have great deals! read more

This is a neat resale shop. Constantly getting new stuff daily they do not sit on merch. They lower prices every day! So each color is a different percentage off after it's been in the shop a couple of days. High-end and some regular and antiques. Always fun to go!!! read more
