this is the first time I've gone to the movies at the Niles location since they remodeled... The facility is immaculately clean, the new recliners so comfortable! yes, the drinks/snacks are expensive, but when you go to the movies you are paying for the EXPERIENCE. Regal offers you other ways to make " going to the movies" less expensive... sign up for the Regal club and they give you free, popcorn, and other rewards! See the movie earlier and get matinee prices! Sign up for their monthly deal and see unlimited movies for only $21.99-this offsets the price at the snack bar. Anyone who says "I'll watch the movie at home" is missing out on the EXPERIENCE... there is nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen: the huge picture,, the sounds, the thrill!! 1 Star - Worst Theater Experience I've Ever Had I have been a loyal Cinemark customer for over six years and regularly drive from the Niles area to Boardman because the experience is consistently excellent. The service is top-notch, the concession portions are generous, the recliner seats are comfortable, and their Movie Club membership is a great value at $14.50 per month. Since Regal recently upgraded its theater in my town, I decided to give it a chance before considering switching memberships. Regal Unlimited costs $26 per month, but I thought the convenience of avoiding a 30-minute drive each way might make up for the difference. Unfortunately, my experience on June 18, 2026, at the 7:40 PM showing of Scary Movie convinced me to stay with Cinemark. Two tickets cost $32. Then I paid over $12 for what Regal calls a "large" popcorn, which would be considered a medium almost anywhere else. To make matters worse, I was charged nearly $9 each for two small Pepsis that were poured from a two-liter bottle. My concession total was over $32, and the value simply wasn't there. The theater operations were equally disappointing. The staff appeared disorganized, there was nobody checking tickets, and nobody directing guests to the correct auditorium. Honestly, it felt like someone could have walked in, bought a soda, and watched a movie for free. When we entered the auditorium, the floor was covered in popcorn. My row was completely empty except for us, which suggests the theater had not been cleaned between showings. The newly installed recliner seats were another disappointment. My seat was broken and would not recline at all. After the movie, I informed the manager. Rather than asking where I was seated or showing any concern about fixing the issue, I received a quick "thanks" and was essentially brushed off. Between the overpriced concessions, dirty theater, broken seat, lack of organization, and indifferent response from management, this was easily the worst theater experience I've ever had. If I could give less than one star, I would. Thank you, Regal, for reminding me why I will continue making the drive to Cinemark in Boardman. read more

I have never seen so many commercials before a movie in my whole life, and $18 for two drinks? I'll wait to watch it at home next time.

Terrible, boxy auditoriums, the "modified" stadium seating is a joke, uncomfortable seats, rude-to-indifferent staff and wildly overpriced tickets/concessions for such a financially strapped corner of Ohio. I realize Regal doesn't even have to try to make it a pleasant moviegoing experience since they have a complete monopoly in the Warren/Niles area, but seriously. On the bright side, their bookings are at least a lot more imaginative than the Boardman Regal location. read more

The marquee did not show that The Color Purple " was even playing at this theater. I found that very unsettling. The theater was very small, seats were too close together and not comfortable enough. I normally go to Austintown Golden Star Theater which is much more comfortable and inviting. Only went to Regal because of the start time for the movie. But the commercials and previews were 35 minutes long which was ridiculous! I will not come to this theater ever again. read more

While this cinema may not be the most flashy or newest around they do have a great staff and their theaters are well maintained and clean. The picture quality is great and the surround sound system is a decent system for seeing movies like Star Wars and other action packed films. Their drinks and popcorn are pricey, but so are all theaters these days. However, this theater usually has very good drinks and normally the popcorn is fresh and flavorful. Last nights was too salty. I almost could not eat it and we did not finish it at all -- unusual for my sister and I! read more

It's the closest theater to me so I end up here a lot but it is honestly overpriced for what they have to offer. Sure they get all the new movies but for the same price I can go to an XD theater or a theater with stadium seating or even a newer AMC with reserved seating and reclining chairs. It is what it is and it serves it purpose but there are better options out here. You just have to go a little further. One nice thing is the rewards club which is free to join. A few times a year I end up with a free drink, popcorn and movie ticket. read more

Haven't been to the movies in a couple of years and since we don't have a lot to do in this town we decided to go see Jumanji and I might say glad I did. Regal is kept clean and everyone who was working on Friday night was pleasant and friendly. Nothing bad to say about that. I wish they had the roomy reclining searing like all the other theaters I have heard about. It was a nice outing for something different on a Friday night. read more

nobody greeted me, and once i could finally find a worker i gave them my tickets and mentioned the fact that i received a free SMALL popcorn, and since i couldnt go back to show them the box i had checked in order to get the popcorn. they REFUSED and huffed and puffed about giving me a 4$ popcorn. i cut them off in the middle of them trying to argue with me to just tell them forget it and i just bought it because it was for my little brother, he was getting it regardless. never should it ever be such a arguement over a small popcorn. get ur act together. other then the workers being terrible at there job, the movie was great and the seats are comfortable. if you decide to come here, be ready for an arguement. read more

A regal cinemas is a regal cinemas is a regal cinemas, right? Yep. It is. They all are. This is the closest theater to where I grew up and I never had any complaints other than high prices at the concession bar, but isn't that how it always goes? I've never had a particularly bad experience with cleanliness or anything of the sort. I also know to expect some tomfoolery depending on the movie you're going to see. While in high school, I went with some friends to see a crappy horror film and got stuck with a bunch of other bored teens and a more-than-middle-aged couple having some "fun" in the back row. But, that happens, and it was more entertaining/disturbing to the teen crowd than disruptive because the movie wasn't thrilling. Anyways, if you're from this area, go ahead and enjoy a movie here. Hey, no line for Hunger Games. It was a small little theater and while the stadium seating was nice, it seemed a little far from the screen. Anyway, there was no line for Hunger Games! There was a strange amount of security there, even by Chicago standards. read more

Was in the Youngstown area and decided to see a movie on the way home. Mistake! This Regal Cinema in Niles was dreadful. We were charged $44 for three 3D tickets for a 5:15pm showing. In Erie, PA a Cinemark 3D movie would have been about $27 for that time of day. The popcorn and pop were also higher here than at TINSELTOWN. Worse than the price was the condition of the theater. NO attempt was made to clean the theater between movies. Cups and candy boxes were still in the arm rests. It took at least three attempts to locate a row of seats that did not have a fresh river of spilled pop on the floor. Worse yet, we had to pay bloated 3D prices for to watch a movie on a small screen. Its no wonder this theater was nearly empty on the opening weekend for this movie (Miss Peregine's ...). The seats were passable but certainly worn as you sank deeply into the cushions - and the seats don't recline. I will certainly appreciate my main theater at TINSELTOWN in Erie the next time I am there. read more
