This theatre is not my typical go to theatre but had the show timing for a weekend. The theatre exterior is definitely classy and has a good vibe. The parking lot is huge and available on both sides of the theatre. I did online reservation via regal app and worked just fine. For a 9.30 pm show it had quite a people. The concession stand has limited options and fresh popcorn popping so couldn't resist and it tasted okay. There are probably 3 restrooms, one under maintenance and 1 was dirty and third one was okay to be used. So, cleanliness of restrooms was a challenge. There were lot of screens, and the seats are very comfortable. One reason I would come back here again would be for the seats that are tall, huge and nice reclining. If you are in the area probably a good place to catch a movie. read more

This theater used to be a great experience - not so any more. The maintenance is not being done - lights in parking lot out, toilets that remain broken for months...and more. The concession stand prices are very high. When we entered, we saw some people bringing blankets in - now I know why - it's 30 degrees outside and it was cold enough inside that I had to put my jacket over me and rub my nose to warm it up. The kicker - no one asked to see our tickets! Just a shame - no wonder people don't go to the movies if they are kept like this. read more

We hadn't been to the movies in a while because, like everyone else, we have a big screen TV and the internet. But we wanted to treat the kids to something special. Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned. The theater was nearly empty (fewer than 10 people at a morning showing), and decently clean, with just a bit of popcorn scattered on some seats. The seats were hit or miss, about a quarter had worn, cracked cushions that made sitting less comfortable. We arrived 15 minutes early, but the movie didn't start until an hour later, thanks to a barrage of commercials and trailers. During this time, a woman in front of us talked on her speakerphone the whole time, even 15 minutes into the film. I had to ask staff twice to intervene, and while they eventually handled it, I missed a major plot point while sorting it out. One final data point - the person who scanned our tickets was a young woman pretending to be a man, and the person working concession and who helped with the woman on the speakerphone was an young man pretending to be a woman. For over $50 (just tickets, no snacks), it seemed like a poor value compared to free, hassle-free viewing at home. The long pre-show, disruptive audience member, and high cost overshadowed any positives. Next time, we'll stay on the couch. read more

I like this space because it has tons of parking and you can usually get a better seat without tons of crowds. I don't go to the theater very much since I prefer my couch for most things. But made a special trip for Into The Spiderverse since I thought it would be better on the big screen. The theater was clean and reservations worked just fine. But there were some real downsides. Ticket checker grabbed every phone to scan going in. The point of the scanner is to NOT have to have touch cross contact anymore! Counter service was pretty slow. Maybe we came in during a shift change but there were a lot of people and yet no one prepping bags. It's also confusing to many people to have candy showing at the counter but only available while in line, maybe some signs? We sadly also had a very rude party in front of us who kept checking their phones the whole time. So sad when you spend so much these days for an experience. We tossed snacks at them to try and get them to stop, they were furious and a manager gave them tickets to another show. I don't blame the young manager for trying to deal with an entitled customer; but perhaps more theater checks could help cut down on the issue. If theaters want to stay viable, they really need to make sure the experience matches the price. read more

This is an average theater, but at least it's very clean. They have a streamlined concessions area which is fine but I wish they offered a little more than just the typical fare. Perfectly acceptable for watching films just nothing special. read more

This place has hit rock bottom, went to see Inside Out 2 with family, they were out of large popcorn containers, they were out of Pepsi, and Root Beer. Ok, we adapted, I ordered the refillable popcorn to find out after paying that the butter machine was broken.... No butter for the popcorn. So I asked for refund, the manager was very annoyed. I asked how they can sell popcorn and not let the customer know there was no butter. He said "well there is sign on it" I asked who looks to see if the condiments work first? He replied, "well now you know." I have never been spoken to so rudely by a customer service manager. I will never return to this theater, or any Regal for that matter. The theater was dirty, the concession area was filthy, and the manager could not have cared in the leaste! read more

I grew up across the street from this movie theater, long before there was a movie theater or even a shopping center on this side of the pike. My parents are still in the area and we take FULL advantage of this theater's proximity! We can pop over on a whim after checking the Fandango app to see what seats are available. It's amazingly convenient for us. But it can be for you too! This theater has electric reclining seats, nice wide armrests, and reserved seating! It seems like the seats are installed in pairs, so there is one shared armrest between pairs, but it is nice and wide as far as armrests go. If only a soda and bag of candy didn't cost 10 bucks, I'd give them 5 stars, but that is pretty typical at any theater. Clean and convenient with plenty of parking...Giant, bars, frozen yogurt, Starbucks, and a few restaurants in walking distance...Tie this in with the friendly service and reserved seating and I'm very happy! Reserved seating is fantastic! You don't need to show up 30 minutes before show time to get a good seat, for a few bucks you can reserve it ahead of time! Note: this also means you can't just plop down in any seat. EVERYONE gets an assigned seat, you can pick it when you order your tickets at the ticket counter. NOTE: The screen is not a touch screen, just use it to tell the cashier which seats you would like to reserve. Update: 4.9.18 Good customer service experience today. Went to Ready Player One in 3D(Breaks from the book more than I like, but 2 thumbs up). Some issue with the 3D at the start of the movie, blurry and bland, something was wrong. I thought it was my glasses so I went to get a new pair. Manager overheard me talking to the usher and told me it was 99% an issue with the projector, not the glasses. By time I got back it looked perfect. After the movie, I spoke to an usher about missing part of the movie to report the issue(waaaah, waaaah) and they gave me a comp ticket. This is a great theater. The people are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. I buy my tickets through the Regal app and choose my seats. The seats recline as well as the footrests go up. There's plenty of parking. This is definitely my favorite place to see movies. read more

Regal got so much better when they installed the reclining seats. The concessions are really expensive. $5 for a small water bottle. And lately they have not been cleaning the theaters very well. Go earlier in the day or not to a new release. read more

We went to see Sound of Freedom on 7/16 at 2:45 pm. Our theater had no air conditioning running. The theater was packed and several movie goers, myself included conveyed to the staff that we have no A/C. They just kept saying "Our manager knows about the issue" Every other theater I walked into after ours ended had A/C. We couldn't breathe in our theater #2 I asked for the manager when we left be he was no where to be found and the concession stand staff told me that they knew the air was off and didn't even bother to warn customer. Many people can't be without A/C. I feel they intentionally did this to stop "Sound of Freedom". May this movie bring awareness of human trafficking. read more

This is our favorite theater, always clean. But today I went to go see Are you There God? It's Me, Margaret, and I get there and there are people in my seats. It turns out they were sold the exact same seats as I was. I go up to an employee, and he gives me a full refund, and new seats. We go and sit in our new seats, everything seems good, but then someone said we were in their seats. So we end up leaving without even seeing the movie. Horrible experience! We haven't been here in years because it was very grungy on our last visit. Our friends wanted to come to this theater so we gave it another shot. Plenty of parking. Lots of showtimes available. It is always sooooo empty in the lobby. It always freaked me out how it would be empty when we left...you wouldn't see a single employee and it's so dark. It's eerie. This did not bother me since we were in a group with two men but as females leaving alone, I still wouldn't feel great about it. The gentleman taking our tickets (scanning them, anyway, lol) was very polite which doesn't always happen. You get to select your seats when purchasing the tickets. The theater itself is small. We were in row 3 but with the reclining seats, it's not that close to the screen which is good. The reclining seats are super comfortable! They make it difficult to get that date night experience, though because you feel so far away from your person! OBNOXIOUS people next to us. They came in 25 minutes into the movie (not the previews...the actual movie)!!! They were talking, using their phones, rearranging their seats, sharing snacks with people behind them so going back and forth, at one point the man stood up and used his cellphone flashlight to look for something. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! The carpets need to be replaced. An attendant comes in every 30 minutes, walks to the emergency exit and signs something. Not sure what that's about. Overall, a good experience. I would still prefer to go to the KOP theater, though! read more

Looking to watch a movie? Come here: They're stadium seating and lots of rooms, some equipped for 3D films. This Regal Cinema is rarely overwhelmed like other theaters in the area, which means it's usually clean. There's plenty of parking, too. Of course, it's pricey, but that should be expected. Avoid the concession stands and grab a slice of pizza from the neighboring shopping center. read more

This movie theater basically offers everything you would want/need: - Clean - Nice/new enough - Usually not too crowded, except Fri/Sat evening shows - Lots of parking - Most theaters have stadium seating, but at least one doesn't (the theater I sat in the other night) - Can order tickets ahead with Fandango, no hassle - Tasty popcorn - Discounted matinee prices - Convenient location: right on West Chester Pike, and plenty of places to go after your movie (restaurants/bars) if you want to extend your movie date night :-). Of course, tickets and popcorn and drinks add up quickly, so it's not exactly a cheap date. But then again, what movie theater these days isn't ridiculously expensive? read more

I don't go to the movies much anymore. Usually when I do, I'm hitting the Granite Run AMC, because it's close to home, and it's cheap. I've encountered bolted shut exit doors there, a mouse scurrying across the floor in the darkened theater, and things like sticky floors. But it's cheap and convenient. It's the kind of theater I am accustomed to. So I just verify that I've got an easy exit, and then I watch my movie while sitting in a standard, cushioned, fold-down movie theater seat. In comparison, Regal Edgmont is far superior. The seating is quite roomy, so not as many people can get packed into a theater. This impressed me. With the luxurious amount of space around my seat, I just sat there thinking "Wow, I'm liking this." And the theater appeared tidy. The negatives: Only one. I'm not a fan of assigned seating. Like, you have to select your seat when you buy the ticket. I'd much rather assess the theater room when I enter it, and then choose my spot. In summary, Regal Edgmont offers an enhanced movie experience with their luxurious seating that makes the higher cost worth it, in my opinion. I'm thinking I'm done roughing it at the older style theaters. I really enjoyed my movie today. Very comfortable. read more

What is happening at this theater? I went to see Oppenheimer today and, as I waited to buy my ticket, I noticed that BOTH popcorn machines were broken and no popcorn was available. I came very close to walking out. I go as much for the popcorn as I do for the movie. The only reason I stayed is because they had people working on the machines and I hoped that they would be able to fix at least one of them before the movie ended. Who lets BOTH machines break before you do something? Fortunately, just after the movie started I saw people walking in with popcorn so I went back and got some. Another concern of mine was when I went to the men's room and noticed that the only urinal for the room was missing completely. Then, when I went to wash my hands I found the valve for the urinal just sitting in the sink. Fortunately, they had two sinks so I just used the other one, but come on. Is this acceptable for a public area in a Regal Theater? If so, they've really gone down hill. read more

SEATS MUST BE RESERVED HERE. Let me just get that out of the way because I came here not knowing and was immediately irritated that I couldn't just sit where I effin' wanted to. Boy was I being a brat, because those. seats. y'all. These seats are comfy, wide, luxurious, recline-able, dine-able, okay you get the point. I was so relaxed during my film. The spacing was nice and the leg room would make an airline flight attendant weep. This place gives you a phenomenal movie watching experience. The only reason I won't give this place five stars is because of the mess the row behind me was. It was very clear they did not clean the theater in between showings. If I had reserved seats one row back I would have demanded someone come in and clean up. But I wasn't so I held my tongue, relaxed in my chair and watched my movie. read more

Regal Edgmont isn't an "eat-while-you-watch" theater. That's where movie theaters are going with Movie Taverns, the AMC down the road on 202, Studio Movie Grills. They are all trying to make the theater going experience something you'll leave your home for. After all, Netflix and all the other streaming sites have hurt these theaters badly (I'll argue not as bad as the quality of most Hollywood movies released today as being the major reason why I see half as many films a year as I used to). This Regal competes with all the others as far as reclining seats. They have them. Unfortunately, the recline is uncomfortable for me all the way back and trying to go to the bathroom in a full aisle is a hassle since there is very little room to get past the other fully reclined seats. AMC with food beats this one on both counts. Walking into the theater from an extremely hot summer day we were struck by how hot it was inside. Where's the air conditioning? Isn't that what a movie theater is known for? A place to escape the summer heat? Apparently this theater thinks differently. Typical high prices for refreshments - stale popcorn included! After experiencing a 2nd run theater in Upstate NY, where my brood and I paid under $15 for admittance and all the popcorn and soda we could ingest, coming to a regular theater, where 1 ticket is $15 is a bit of a bummer. However, I'll hate the game and not the player and say that I always enjoy coming to the Regal at Edgemont. And there's even a better reason to love this place, with the installation of recliner seats in at least one of the theaters. Perhaps to combat people leaving in droves to Movie Tavern and the like, Edgemont now gives you the option of watching a film in the utmost comfort possible with seats that recline to an almost bed-like position at the push of a button. Actually, right now it's not really an option. You have to be seeing the film that is in that particular room, but I'm sure they are putting the most popular film in there. Overall, if I have to take out a second mortgage to fund a trip to the movies , at least I can do it in comfort. read more

I have been going to this theater for YEARS and love it. This theater has been always clean, organized and overall a much better experience then the theaters in Springfield. I love the fact that this place has stadium seating, as well as it is usually not crowded! Parking is never a problem, and they have a great concession stand in the front. If you want to see a movie and you want to go and not be surrounded by thousands of people, then here is where you want to go. read more

I'm only giving two stars because there are a couple nice things about this theater. They probably deserve one star, but I am too kind. But, there are things I like about the theater itself. It is much nicer and less ghetto than other options in the area like amc marple. It also has nice stadium seating. This used to be the movie theater I would regularly go to see movies at. However, the management is terrible. After giving them "three strikes" in a short frame of time, I stopped taking my business there a year or so ago, and have not been back since. Strike 1: I came with here my friend to see a movie. I actually remember it was Twilight Eclipse. During the middle of the movie, the fire alarm starts going off. We had to evacuate the building which makes sense.However, there was no fire, the building had just gotten too hot and made the fire alarms go off. We waited around for awhile, but the theater workers said it was unlikely to open back up anytime soon and we wouldn't be able to resume our movie. So, they gave everyone passes to come back another time. We were bummed out because we wanted to see the movie and the theater wasn't exactly close to where we live (about a half hour drive). But, it was totally understandable! Accidents happen and at least they gave us movie passes. Strike 2: I was here seeing a movie, probably about a year later. I was actually with the same friend as the first incident. Were in the middle of the movie, and what do you know, the fire alarm starts going off again! We just kinda laughed and were like wow this would happen to us. I don't know why the fire alarm went off , it was the same deal as before that it wasn't actually a fire and the theater wasn't going to open back up for awhile, but free passes yay. Except, I was a little more ticked off this time. I can understand that some stuff is out of your control but obviously this is some sort of recurring problem that they should have fixed. Strike 3: This was the time that really got me aggravated. I came here with my boyfriend to see an R-rated movie. I was a little late getting my drivers license so I didn't have an ID yet. I know you can get state issued ID's, but I really didn't have a need for one. I wasn't yet 21, I don't smoke cigarettes, and up until this point I hadn't had a problem getting into movies. My boyfriend and I both got carded. He had his driver's license so he was fine. But, I only had a old high school student ID and a college student ID, which should have explained that I was at least 17, which was the requirement for a R-rated movie. The guy at the counter said I couldn't use it because it didn't have my DOB on it, so I had him call up his manager. I explained to the manager that it would have been nearly impossible for me not be at least 17. Most people graduate high school at 18, the people that are young for their grade graduate at 17. Futhermore, my highschool photo ID showed that I had graduated over a year ago, and my college ID showed that I was now in college. Did the manager really believe that I was only 16? He really didn't care what I had to say and was very rude and talked to me like I was a child. He had the nerve to say we could see another movie that wasn't rated-R. Why would I want to see a movie other than the one I came to see? Especially after being treated that way. This was there third strike and I have not been back since. read more

I really love it here! We go out of our way to watch a movie here because it's clean and it's quiet. Plus, there are great restaurants near by, so it's easy to do a dinner and a movie with friends. We just saw star trek there, and there was barely any line for entrance, food, or bathroom. It was great. read more

Previously, I gave this Regal a ONE STAR because the reserved seating was really screwed up. I take that back. Think I didn't give it a chance. My apologies! It works out great and if you go to dinner beforehand you do not have to rush because you already have your seating. I am an avid movie goer and have been going to Regal Edgemont for at least 15yrs without any problems 5 stars. The new recliners would make it 6 stars. read more

On my recent trip to try to see all of the Oscar's nominees, I headed to the Regal Cinemas with my aunt to see Les Miserables. I was Les Miserables because the temperature had to have been below 60 degrees. I had my down filled coat over me and Uggs on and still I was chattering through the two and a half hour film. In any case, if you go, wear layers. The bathrooms were clean. Also, since this is a smaller theater, shows tend to get sold out faster. read more

UPDATE:: The bank never reflected my refund, so I called Fandango, who told me that I couldn't be refunded because the request was made post movie start time. They told me to go back to the theater. We went back to the theater, where the manager unfortunately said she couldn't refund the money; instead, though, she did give us some free movie passes. Better than nothing, I guess...! Super frustrated with this theater. Bought tickets online for a showing and got into the theater fine. The worker at the door told us to go to Theater 9, so we went and sat in the assigned seats. A little while later, someone else came and told us we were in their seats! I looked at the ticket more closely and realized that our theater was 8, not 9, and we were misinformed. Whatever, it's cool. So, we went to Theater 8 for our real seats (where our movie had already started), but this time people were in OUR seats. Unfortunately, since the movie had already started we weren't sure of how to respond. Went back out to talk to the worker at the door, and he did apologize for the mistake. He confirmed our tickets, and said he would go and check the other customer's tickets. Walked us to the correct theater, stood at our row and stared at the people in our seats. Stared at us. Then said something like "Oh... the movies started... what should we do?" Took us out and said maybe he could swap out our seats for another three together. We were cool with it! Brought his manager, who said she found seats to swap and told us to go to those in the original incorrect theater. We get there and there's already people there. We walk back to say this; apparently, someone bought those tickets as we were speaking. Okay. Then, we're brought back to the front desk where the manager says she's trying to find seats to swap. Oops; unsuccessful, and the only choices are refund or a movie that's much later. Went for the refund. The thing that makes me most irritated is how unapologetic and frankly rude the manager was during the process. Not so much as a "Sorry for this inconvenience" or for all the running and shuffling around. Really, really lame exp. read more

My hubby and I came here last night after not having been here for a few years, and we were impressed with the improvements that have been made. You select your seats at the time you purchase your tickets. How innovative! But the best part of all...wait for it...is that the standard seats have been replaced with recliners! So you can watch the movie and feel as if you're in the comfort of your own living room! It took how many years for theaters to realize that we like to be comfortable while watching a movie? Brilliant! I like this theater's location, too. It's very clean, and the staff is friendly. Also, it's away from the hustle and bustle of Southeast Delco and a huge step up from the ghettoish theaters in Marple and Granite Run. read more

For the second time in two days the power in the theater went out. Yesterday during endgame and today during Spider-Man. It happened to me twice before there and my two friends had the same experiences at different times. After attaining thousands of dollars in concession stand tickets the lights go out. Someone should loo into this. Six separate instances of power going out in six months is an issue. Maybe have some back up generators. Why has no one thought of this? We'll get them back in here with two free tickets & they'll spend another $20 on popcorn. It's disgraceful. I'm done with regal, amc is just as good now. Someone from the Corp office should look into this. It's tantamount to theft. They know it's going to happen when it drizzles. STAY OUTTA THIS THEATER. THE POWER WILL GO OUT AFTER YOU'VE SPEND MONEY ON FOOD. read more
