Had an appointment set went in waited a bit, beings that I showed up early. Got sat in a chair waited a little longer for a tech to finish. Gentleman came to do my nails asked me what shape I wanted I replied coffin. He told me that was extra that only short square is included in the 50.00 price. Picked out my color. Everything started like normal. Once he applied the acrylic on all nails, he went around my cuticles, did no shaping, have a blob on the side of one of my nails, no apex created and they are extremely thin. He had gotten polish on my hands, not just my nails as would be expected, as well as an exuberant amount of glue. I would not recommend this establishment. read more

Took my two sisters to get their nails done for prom as well as mine and their friend came along to get her toes done and I was not pleased with the service. The lady cut my sisters fingers, their friend told the other lady she did not want her toe nails cut to which the lady proceeded to cut them almost to a nub and then told her she could not get a certain polish on them and pressured her into getting a different polish. My nails just look rushed and misshapen. We brought my sisters 3 year old with us and to Which I assume are the owners, had their young daughter there as well. The girl wanted to play with my niece which was fine but every time she tried to play with the little girl, she just yelled at my niece to "stop it" and was just rude. i paid $206 for 3 full sets that were not worth it and I will not be going back. read more

When I walked in it was 11:15 and I sat down to wait for an open chair. I watched a man work on a set of acrylics and they looked very nice. I also saw his chair was about to open up and I was excited to get started. At that point I had been waiting about 45 minutes. Just as they finish up the friend of the girl getting her nails done asks for a fill. She had came in about 15 minutes before this and had sat down to chat with her friend. Obviously she was a regular and she just stole my chair. That was quite rude and I was upset that the guy had let it happen. I then waited another 25 minutes before another chair opened up. The nail tech was wearing a headset and answering calls for the store as she was working. Before we started I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asked if she was capable of doing them and how much they would cost. And she said she could do them but they would be expensive, about $65. I agreed and she got started. However by the time she started on the design I realized she wasn't honest about her being able to do the design I asked for. She struggled with the matte polish and the floral design I asked for. She however was very kind and when I was unhappy with the unevenness of the matte she changed the polish to a glossy one. However at this point she had applied so many layers of gel polish that my nails were pretty thick and uneven in places. This isn't the worst set of nails I have had but the experience definitely could have been better if the nail tech had just been honest about her abilities from the beginning. I spent $60 on this set and I'm fairly disappointed with the quality for the price. However I saw plenty of good nails go out of that salon today. read more

Dishonest! Board says $30 for a basic pedicure so I verified with the lady twice that it was $30 before she started. And then when I went to pay, they stated $35. Not to mention, we waited an hour in the seat soaking. I was with my daughter and disappointed we couldn't have the pedicures together. Then drying time was 40 min, yet the polish still smudged. I'll never return. I visited the nail salon a couple of months ago. I was shopping and it was convenient...the female who waxed my eyebrows was rude and rushed thru it. The service was poorly done. I paid, didnt tip and swore I wouldn't return. I normally go to Epic Nails. Tonight, due to a time crunch (again) and Regals late hours (one positive-open til 8)..I stopped in again. RUDE again. Why? Never ever EVER again! I will never go to this place or recommend anyone go to this shotty establishment. They treat you pretty much the same as livestock. Herding you in,rushing through the process and herding you through each station until whoosh you out the door. One woman who worked there actually made an attempt at conversation with my friend and me but others were just dismissive and gave you a cold stare if you spoke to them. They DID NOT pay attention to details.Left glue under the acrylic nail stuck to my finger tips and made my nails look really unhealthy dirty for as long as I had them. My fingertips are in shreds since february when I got the acrylics done. That's 3 months and counting!! My fingertips are in the worst shape they have ever been in EVER. Don't waste your hard-earned money by going to this nail salon it's a joke! I have been here before but it's been about a year or two since I've been here... I remember them doing an amazing job. I always used to come here to get my vacation nails done as they used to have the best nail designs. I got a gel manicure that supposed to last up to two weeks I've had gel manicures before from several salons and they usually last until I peel them off or until my nails grow out it's been five days my nails started to chip on day three and at day five they're completely peeling off I spent $30 on a gel manicure for my vacation so I didn't have to worry about my nails looking like crap well there's $30 down the toilet and my nails look like crap never going back here again! First of all this place is located inside a Walmart...reason why I ended up here was because I have a tight schedule and only had from 9-10am to get a manicure...(all the other local nail salons opened at 10am). While getting my pedicure the lady (might be an owner..not sure) kept trying to up-sell me stuff...like, if I wanted a sea salt scrub for an extra $5? or if I wanted a regular pedicure vs a spa pedicure...very ridiculous crap...anyway, so she would not stop...and I agreed to the stupid "sea salt" and to my amusement it really didn't do anything...I did not even feel anything actually exfoliating my skin...a waste of $. Also, she's nosy too....asking me questions non-stop...ver private ones too; like why does she care that I am not married and have no children? (wtf) ....We go on to my manicure, and I agreed to try a gel manicure...(14 days non-chip)...when I was done my nails looked good to the eye, but she did not even lotion my hands or anything...my toes looked well polished, but did not feel the "spa pedicure" results I was expecting...I also needed to clean up my eyebrows...another $10 gone...she literally waxed my eyebrows while I was sitting at the UV drying station....I even asked her "are you serious?" she ignored me smiled at me like she no longer spoke English....long story short...i walked out with a $83 bill and my stupid tipping behind gave her a undeserved $10 tip...I regret it. read more

I had a full set of nails put on by one of tbe managers 2 days ago. They turned out with flat spots and lumps. I went back to the salon (Sedalia, Mo. Location) today to show them to the main manager and request that they be fixed. In short, he told me I would have to wait until they need to be filled in 2 weeks, then he would fix them. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The lady I went to spent no time on my nails and charged $51. The shape wasn't correct and the nail wasn't close to my nail bed at all. My manicure looked grown out the day I got it. Couldn't get in to fix it till a week later and I was told on the phone the owner would fix it. The lady who messed up had to fix and talked down to me about it the whole time. Said my nails grew out and it wasn't her fault, even though the one nail she did correctly hasn't grown out yet. My nails don't grow very fast and this women didn't even fully fix the shape. Once again she didn't take her time and I had to cancel an appointment to get my nails fixed in time for senior pictures. I cannot even begin to explain my frustration with the nail salon located in the Sedalia Walmart in Missouri, Regal Nails. Today was my grandmother's 67th birthday so her, my mom, and I went to your salon to get pedicures! We were so excited as we already had a wonderful today. Little did we know, we were going to have a horrible experience, which we have known to have with the same nail salon a year ago... After boycotting the nail salon for a year we decided to give it another chance. Well, first off, My nail polish chipped some time between leaving the salon, and walking around Walmart for 30 minutes. This was after waiting over 9 minutes under their uv light as they recommended. Secondly, my grandmas poor toes were in so much pain from her pedicure, I was confused by this because mine were not. She said the lady was extremely rough with her. Really made me feel terrible as this was her birthday celebration. I don't believe in only naming the faults in your nail salon and not our fault, this brings me to my next topic. My mother had her nail polish of choice sitting on the table side on the vibrating massage chair, the polish must have vibrated and fell off the table and broke. My mom felt terrible and apologized repetitively while the nail lady gave her blank stares and made it seem as if it was the end of the world. To sum it up... After all of this, this horrible experience. I called and spoke with Jenny who says she is the manager of regal nails in Sedalia, Missouri. I explained my chipped polish, she did say if I came back she would fix the one toe; even after I told her I had already drove 30 minutes each way for her services and that it would be a day or two before I would be able to drive back; and by fixing one two and not re-polishing all, that at some point all the other nails would be chipped off while the one toe that was fixed would be fine? That would make no sense at all!! I explained to her that I thought it had chipped and not dried correctly because the nail polish was old. She argued with me and asked how I could think her polish was old; the lady doing my toes added nail polish remover to the polish to thin it from being thick and chunky! That's how. She became very rude and disrespectful at this point. I then explained to her that maybe she needs to review her nail polish inventory and throw out the old ones and buy new! Then about the one lady being rude; jenny insisted she was not rude, even though she did not witness the situation. She said that the lady does not know English so all she could do is stare at my mom, blankly. Well I've got news for you. If a majority of your customers speak English; and we do here in the United States; then maybe it should be required by your franchise that they take English classes & better yet, that they take classes to teach them better customer service skills, or any at all. Not to mention, the talking back and forth in front of their customers and across the room to each other in Chinese is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have a feeling if the roles were switched that the workers there would not feel so welcome at a salon that they were paying good money for services at. In closing; I feel as though these issues need to be addressed immediately. I will no longer step foot in this salon. Further, I will make it a point to make sure that every person I know does the same. I demand that the public knows about the horrible experience I have had with Regal Nails in Sedalia, MO.
