Dismal excuse for a mall. Lots of empty storefronts and a few shoddy merchants. Some chain stores,…read morebut nothing you can't find elsewhere. Many of the merchants seem to keep their own hours, and close up early when they feel like it. The two main anchor stores - Rossy and Zellers - are both closed now, so unless you're picking up groceries, there's little that's worth the trip. It's been that way for years - a real shame because the mall is in a good location for us Northsiders.

The first time was to browse the aisles because every Costco will cater to their community and I discovering local stuff. In this case I found some snow,ice rubber shoe traction aids which you won't find in So. Cal where I live. I also like to sample any new item from their food court. It was poutine and not bad at all. The brown gravy tasted similar to a KFC gravy and the cheese curds tasted like mozzarella. They have a gas station so don't freak out when you see the price because it's in litters not gallons. The only bummer was that they only accept MC and my USA Costco Visa card does not work in Canada . My option was cash and it's a good thing they have an ATM so you're not S.O.L.

Hell, I'm told that my state has the same population as all of Canada but let me tell you how this one little Costco stands out -- real customer-centric-service. I do not remember all of the names but I had the return from hell -- different country, different tax system, and a conversion rate to boot. It did take a while and I was patient with my bizarre Merican request and got my refund in equivalent Canadian dollars. Any business that will go to that extreme for a refund is worth a long-term membership in my book.

This location, part of Regent Mall, is like many Walmart Supercentre in large cities. Lots of departments, specialty services and McDonalds. Specials signage abound. I used self-checkout and was done in a jiffy!

Went in to the photoshop, apparently too early even though the door was open. When I checked online…read moreit said they were open. I understand sometimes the website and the actual hours don't add up sometimes, no problem, however the lady who works in the photoshop came in and preceded to yell that they were closed. I was apologetic and explained that the door was open so I assumed it was open and I wasn't committing a serious crime. She continued yelling at me as she walked away. Never had an employee act like that. I would have just let the person know that they were a little early and maybe if they had a few things to grab in the store to do that first then come back and she could help me then. Would that have been so hard to do? There are other places to go to enlarge photos or whatever your needs are so I would recommend going anywhere else for those needs. All this being said all the other employees in the Walmart store are very polite, helpful and probably overworked.
