If you are ever given the opportunity to stop in at the Chase Benjamin Antiques shoppe - DO IT! It is a clean, lovely shoppe full of SO many unique and often nostalgic things. A person could spend a long time in there just looking the assortment of inventory. So many things to see! Above all...and one of the very best things about the shoppe is Chase himself. He is kindness and charm personified! So pleasant to chat with when he has time to do so. :) Always greets you with a 'hello' and a smile. Finally... I will tell you that the prices incredibly fair! I find many antique dealers set their prices so high that treasures seem unattainable. Chase seems to 'get it' and prices things in a range that allows for many to purchase things that may really mean something to them. All in all it is a GREAT little gem of a shop here in Fredericton's Northside. Stop in and see what treasures await you! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Chase P.

Ever since I was a kid, I've dreamed of owning a small shop that people would walk into to and immediately feel at home. Whether it be a coffee shop, book store or something else, I knew I wanted it to be special. My favourite thing about having my own shop is seeing how excited people get when they see things they haven't seen in years. Their eyes light up and they tell the greatest stories. About their favourite toy as a child, their grandfather's experience during the war, the bowl their grandmother used to make biscuits in. I'd like to think that I'm saving items from being thrown away or left in basements or attics for years to come. I'm giving these items a new home where they'll be loved and cherished as much as they were wen they were first bought. Seems quite cheesy, but it's what I know to be true. All I can ask is that you walk into my store with an open heart and let yourself take a walk through the past.

He refused to talk to us or return our calls. Told us to claim through our insurance it was too expensive for him. We were only covered for theft from storage . Trusted him -no procedure followed no record of box numbers on packing invoices. SHADY to say the least.

Rather than contact the police or the store from which it was clearly stolen, they just give enough for the next fix thus ensuring a continual supply of goods to sell, and proliferating the stealing of goods.
