Hi, Well, I suppose I will be the first to reach out and introduce myself! My name is David Griffith, I am a seasoned CPAP users since 2003. My late wife was tired to giving me the elbow because of snoring. I stayed awake all night seeing if I snored and never heard me snoring except my wife's snoring!! No longer wanting to suffer from jabbed ribs I went to the doctor and was prescribed a sleep test. 139 no breathing episodes during the night! So this pulmonary doc said he could cut out the Uvula and go into the nose for the deviated septum! Which his did. Well, a couple of things happened, I no longer snore, I hiss like a snake!! The worst part there is no longer a gag reflex! I had to learn to eat and drink differently or choke, which has happened several times in the past and sometimes during the present time. I did have another sleep test and it was determined that I needed a CPAP machine. I am an open mouth breather so Pillows are out because I can't keep my mouth shut!! So the hog nose was first and first out the door! Full face mask over the bridge of the nose was much better, however, it developed a CPAP Dent! So I put a gummy over the bridge of the nose and get soaked every time when a new one was needed to be ordered!! With yearly visits to the Pulmonary doctor I notice a real full mask, on their display. You guys call it the Hockey Mask! No more CPAP Dent on the nose! So that is my choice.  I have tried the Amara View after going to the  Home Care Office in Randolph Ma. In the office it felt ok, so the agent (Eric) issued one for me. When I got home. Put the machine together, I did a CPAP nap! To describe the fit of this mask, put 4 fingers on your mouth area. 2 just under the nose and 2 just under your bottom lip and press and the pain becomes very uncomfortable. So, for the 1st night, I put the Amara View on and went to sleep and woke up with this 4 finger pressure and like it was squeezing my lips to purse! So not getting upset. I got up shut off the machine and took off the Amara View and hooked up my Hockey Mask and went back to sleep. These selfies were taken when I returned home from the Randolf Office visit 7-17-19. Tonight will only be the Hockey Mask as I have used in the past use with the CPAP machine.  No more bruised ribs and I do get a good nights sleep. The CPAP Machine is not a curse, however, you have to have a proper fitting mask and hopefully one of these days no CPAP seal marks on the side of the face. I find by applying a small amount of oil on the cheek area reduces those marks. Also a warm cloth in the morning helps to bring back up the compressed face! Orangatang Face!! I do travel with the CPAP machine. I have gone to Brazil, and Israel, use the current adapters and have a good nights sleep.  The reason for the new machine? Well, after 5 years that machine began squeeking. I put velcro to keep the door shut tight. Then one night air was coming from the back of the machine and automatically shut off. I looked to see what was the matter. All the screws came loose and no way could I retighten them. So I put on a 5lb ankle weight on top of the door and the squeeking stopped. Medicare has a 5 year usage policy. I applied for CPAP Machine in 5-17-14 and it lasted that long! 5 years and 2 months! Thats my story of intruduction! Regards, David L. Griffith read more

I was initially nervous, having heard mixed reviews about CPAP machines, but Dawn made the entire process smooth, informative, and surprisingly comfortable.From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming smile. Dawn immediately put me at ease, which I really appreciated as someone who's always been a little apprehensive about medical equipment. She introduced herself and explained in simple terms what the process would entail, asking about my sleep patterns and any concerns I had. Her attention to detail and genuine concern for my well-being stood out from the start.What I loved most was that Dawn didn't just hand me the machine and walk away. She spent time thoroughly explaining how the CPAP works, what I should expect, and how it could improve my sleep apnea symptoms. She carefully demonstrated how to set up the machine, adjust the mask, and use the settings. What could have been a very overwhelming experience was instead an educational one. Dawn had a deep understanding of the equipment and broke everything down in a way that wasn't just informative but empowering. She showed me different types of masks, explaining the pros and cons of each, and made sure I had one that felt comfortable and offered alternatives that suited my needs.Another thing I really appreciated was her emphasis on personal comfort. Dawn encouraged me to try on the mask, adjust the straps, and test out the machine while still in the office. After walking me through the technical side, she gave me practical advice on how to clean and maintain the machine, which was incredibly helpful. I deal with the Regional Home Care's Waterville office and I have never experienced anything remotely similar to the complaints in the other reviews. I am not being paid to give this review; I am speaking from my personal experience with the company. For me, this has been the best supplier of CPAP supplies that I've ever had. I was a client with Lincare from September of 2001 until the end of 2015, but had my doctor refer me to Regional Home Care because Lincare was so undependable, unreliable, and unprofessional. I went without my CPAP for SEVEN months because Lincare repeatedly claimed that they never received the records that had been faxed to them-FIVE TIMES, and I only needed a new power cord. I have NEVER had ANY problems with Regional Home Care. I receive my CPAP supplies promptly and when it was time for a new machine 2 weeks ago, Regional Home Care supplied me with an exceptionally better machine, whereas Lincare gave me the worst machine they sell. The 1st machine that Lincare charged my insurance for was a piece of junk with a cracked motor so I was inhaling motor oil every night for TWO YEARS. When I first saw the black specks and oily bubbles in the humidifier in 2002, one year after receiving that "supposedly new" machine, I contacted Lincare but they never even checked my machine. And the respiratory therapist ignored me until 2003, and then told me that I must have done something to crack the motor. They made me pay me $167.00 upfront to repair it and then turned around and told me the machine could not be repaired, but they never gave back my money. Back in 2001, Lincare was North Atlantic and it was the worst company ever. Changing their name to Lincare did not change the fact that they're a horrible company. I am very happy with Regional Home Care so I am staying with them. read more

I'm pleased with RHC because they consistently provide an accurate, high quality service for an important part of my life requiring zero amount of effort on my part. The only problem I have is that they use an automated "robo-call" to call my cellphone to ask me whether I need supplies for my CPAP system, which is both undesirable and illegal because there are laws forbidding this on cellphones. I would much prefer either text or e-mail messages linking me to a web page where I can have access to choices and leaving messages. Being contacted out of the blue like this is like an intrusive pop quiz, forcing me into a new train of thought, interrupting whatever I was engaged in and thinking about at the moment. There are no other companies who use "this is a test" method in my life, and being a tech professional I wonder if anyone uses it. I request that they redesign this process to be less intrusive and more user-friendly as I have described. I'd prefer to cancel this "service" until they come up with a better approach, or just let me call them when I need supplies. read more

Regional Home Care has consistently provided "Excellent" Customer Service from all of their departments I've dealt with over the years I've been receiving services from them! From the customer service Reps, the ordering department for replacement equipment, the breathing therapists and the walk-in service offices, I couldn't be happier!! Prompt, caring and very helpful, and I will rate Regional as one of the "Best" companies I've ever dealt with! And that's from all of the companies I've dealt with, even besides healthcare service companies! I've been with Regional Home Care for over 3 years now and it's amazing how consistent they are each and every time I deal with them! Keep up the Great work! I will comment that I'm just stunned when a read a few of the reviews for Regional that are negative?! I guess there are always those select few who you can never please, no matter what you do for them! That just shows bc there are so many positive comments, and then there are those select few! I had an extremely bad experience with Regional Home Care. They repeatedly sent me the wrong CPAP supplies, which is unacceptable for medical equipment that people rely on to breathe safely at night. Communication was dishonest and frustrating. A representative named Katrina lied repeatedly about orders and corrections. When I finally questioned the inconsistencies and asked for accountability, they abruptly discontinued my service instead of resolving the issue. What makes this even more concerning is that Regional Home Care has a documented history of serious compliance problems. According to public reporting, they were investigated by the Massachusetts Attorney General for Medicaid fraud a few years ago and were required to repay millions of dollars as a result. Given my experience, that history feels very relevant. This company showed a complete lack of integrity, transparency, and concern for patients. I would strongly caution anyone who depends on CPAP or other medical equipment to look elsewhere. read more

Although I rated RMC very highly i had the following to add to my review: My only concern is not having a clue how much any of this costs, in spite of the fact that Medicare and my supplemental Insurance pays. I say this because the biggest impediment for implementing a comprehensive health care and payment system in the US is not the coverage options that are debated fiercely by Democrats and Republicans, but the comprehensive cost of healthcare. If we consumers do not have a clue as to what we are costing the insurance companies, whether private or public, we are just hapless bodies floating down the fast moving disconnected and unsystemic delivery system.The cost of healthcare is increasing at 2x the rate of the economy's inflation, and consumes over 18% of our GDP. That is unsustainable. Homecare is an essential component of an effective delivery system, but it too has had little consumer cost/price pressure. That cannot last forever. Step up, and show some leadership. read more

I have been with Regional Health Care (RHC) for over 20 years, and in recent years the company has shifted from patient centered to profit focused in motto. I have seriously considered moving to another supplier. While they provide great products and selling, in recent years I have found it difficult to find someone to work with me to resolve sleep problems, until now. One staff person in their Resupply Department, Christina, has focused in my needs, providing helpful and honest feedback and information. She has given me hope that there are truly staff at RHC that care about us as patients and not just consumers. Presently, it's their Billing Department that's calling the shots there, with their Resupply Department heading the company's motto of profit over patient care. Management would serve RHC well by realizing the profitability of compassionate care that someone like Christina provides the company. read more

I've been getting CPAP supplies from NAM now Regional Home Care for the past 10 years, and I have never had a problem with them or with their billing or their service. The negative reviews totally amaze me. And I am not a paid supporter, I have no relatives who work there, and they have never done anything for me other than provide me with what I need and what my insurance policies (which are sometimes very stupid -- ) have permitted. Yes, there is a robot who calls to remind you that you are eligible for new supplies (which is actually useful, since sometimes I lose track), but you can talk to a real person to order supplies if you wish instead of the robot. And the people whom I have dealt with have always been competent and friendly. They are not a fly by night operation -- they have been around for a long time. read more

I was highly greeted first of all, when I walked into the office. I was 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, under the assumption that I had no prior experience with Regional, so I thought I would play it safe rather than showing up on the hour. Well let me tell you, to my surprise, I was immediately taken into the office and we began the process of acclimating to the new C pap machine that was being issued to me.all the details and instructions were given to me a rate of proper comprehension and dispite my many questions, all were answered with the utmost patience and courtesy. Honestly, it has been a while that I have been to any office that performs as well as Regional does. Would I recommend them to my friends and relatives, absolutely. I went into the Leominster Office 3 times for initial cpap equipment and instruction and was provided with excellent instruction by respiratory therapists Sherry and Tammy. They patiently answered all my questions and showed a genuine commitment to my getting the most benefit from my cpap therapy. They are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to engage with. Also, the sleep coach, Yuri, who followed up by phone to see how I was doing and answer questions was also very kind and knowledgeable and offered several good suggestions for coping with issues I was having with cpap. One of the Supervisors, Juliana, went out on limb to cut through red tape and facilitate dealing with mask fit issues I was having. I recently received CPAP training and equipment from Regional Home Care. They answered my approximately 10 billion questions, and spent all the time I needed showing me how to use the machine. I have a hard to fit facial structure and they worked hard to make sure I had a mask that fit and made a lot of suggestions for how to customize it and make it more comfortable for me. Tammy, who made a home visit to set me up, was on time, considerate, knowledgeable, and so, so helpful. The staff I spoke with via telephone were also great, helping me understand the process and get the right equipment for my needs. They handled my insurance paperwork when I was confused about how to do that, as well answering my questions about the equipment itself. I couldn't be happier!! read more

I recently went to Regional Home Care in Waterville Maine. I was greeted by Lisa W. at the door with a welcoming smile. Lisa was very knowledgeable about the Cpap machine I received and took the time to answer my questions. I have the app downloaded on my phone for my previous machine and she took the time to look at my cpap numbers to see if my older machine was working for me at the pressures set previously. Lisa also took the time to see if I could use a different mask instead of a full mask. I also was given a choice over the phone for the cpap machine to be sent to me through the mail without going to Waterville but I would recommend going in person to have your questions answered by the knowledgeable staff. Hello. I needed to replace the condenser yesterday for a new one. I called in the morning to ask if one could be delivered during the day. I was told a new one will be delivered in a window of 12:00pm to 2:00pm. At 1:00pm, your employee, Crystal, arrived at my home. She made a test of the failing condenser and found that I was only getting 20.9% oxygen. She immediately changed the machine to the new one. Needless to say, I started to receive more oxygen through the cannula. Crystal was very professional and knowledgeable of the product. They're very proactive, contacting me prior to my services and treatment to tell me all the steps that would occur, exactly how my insurance will work and what will be covered. This was very helpful. I've been to their Worcester office and was given very thorough instruction on my new equipment and in being fitted for a mask. I also really like that they called within a couple weeks to see how things were going and if I had any questions. All around, the services I've received have been really good, they're very helpful and clear, and make themselves available for help and assistance. Steve was so helpful! I have to admit, I didn't really want to deal with sleep apnea equipment again. It's only been a few years since my last time, but this equipment is smaller and will be easier to use and clean, which I need. Steve from Bedford had so much understanding of the problems I had before and his explanation of how to use everything was very thorough. He took the picture of my face and brought me the right choices based on my faces needs. Keith Brown was my clinician. I was picking up a CPAP machine as I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He was extremely informative. He explained everything I needed to know in detail and in a manner I understood. I was running late due to the fact I live 1 hr and 15 mins from the office and we were having a snow storm. I was traveling on a windy road that was hilly, so I needed to travel slower than normal. I had called Customer Service to let them know and they told me that I might have to reschedule. It was off to a rocky start, it took a while to receive my c-pap equipment, apparently my paperwork was lost. My doctor contacted them to find out what was going on and within a couple days I had appointment. This is the first time dealing with this company, and I'm glad I didn't give up because I couldn't be happier. John in Bedford was exceptional, he explained the equipment in detail, the benefits of using the equipment, and if I had any problems to call immediately.
