I found out that I had a defect in my spine that was causing it to slowly slip out of place, and I started meeting with a physical therapist to strengthen my core muscles so they would keep my spine from slipping any further. She asked for a copy of my x-ray, and when she saw it, she said I should never have been allowed to get adjustments, and they likely made my condition worse.

5 update on my…read morereview. So I've been a month now without adjustments to see what my body needs for maintenance. Well it appears that my limit is one month! i suffer from from fibromyalgia and I notice a significant difference in my quality of life. Dr. Cooke did an incredible job getting my body back together! im obsessively grateful that I was referred to him! he didnt quit until I was healed! You don't see that passion anymore from Drs! again so obsessively grateful for the quality of life I have today! When I was referred to Dr. Cooke by my pain management doctor I honestly went in with little hope that I'd have any relief from the pain from not one but two MVAs. The wreck I was in was a miracle to walk away from. I had severe pain in my neck and upper back. My upper back tingled and crawled so miserably. I'd lay in bed at night thinking I'd never have quality of life. I also suffer from fibromyalgia which makes life unbearable on good days. This, only my third visit, was off-putting; I tried to get…read moreover it by the time I left, especially considering that Thanksgiving is three days away, but it's still sitting pretty shitty with me. It's a little past 8:00 a.m. and I received super loose (almost non-existent) coaching from Diane today; I guess she expected me to have memorized all the new exercises/stretches and their reps from last time. Maybe it's just too early for both of us??!!? I generally like to try to have understanding about things and find plausible reasons for bs. However, when someone is getting paid to be a PT coach, that's exactly what they better be. The real bonus was using a ball with a couple of small spots of schmutz from someone else!! When I told Diane that the ball was dirty, she asked me to clean it. I then specified to her that it wasn't from me and she again actually asked ME to clean it!! Then, she added that SHE could clean it, with a gentle voice suggesting that she'd do me the "favor".......naaaah, too late for that......Cinderella PATIENT, here, had already been prodded and will go ahead and clean up the slop that I was told to tend to.....isn't that what insurance pays this joint for? This is not a community pitch-in or family; I'm a patient/client and these things are supposed to be clean for my use and everyone else's!! We were among the first very few patients for the day. Who knows how long that ball had been dirty like that. IT'S THEIR JOB AND RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP ALL THINGS IN THE FACILITY CLEAN!!! I didn't know that I had to earn my keep here and then some. It made being asked to sanitize--AS SOON AS I WALKED IN--an extra joke. I felt like she really couldn't be bothered with me and I would've been better off not being there. Maybe if I were just a tad more important than her folding towels and chit-chatting with another patient, perhaps I wouldn't feel like I had just entered the beginning stages of being some sort of red-headed stepchild.

My wife has been coming here for maybe a month and she has made gains following a complicated shoulder repair in that short time which greatly exceed the previous 3 months of therapy at a major hospital. These guys are skilled, intuitive and have the experience needed to provide the best outcomes. If you need physical therapy, regardless of the condition, this is the place to be. I understand they take all major health plans, including Medicare, but if you are a self-pay client, I suspect they have a reasonable payment schedule.
