When I went to the office, the doctor explained that I required an x-ray due to insurance rule changes in addition to a $50 examination prior to an adjustment. I've been seeing chiropractors all over the country for the last 35+ years and have come to the conclusion that those chiropractors that "require an x-ray" prior to an adjustment also like to recommend additional services so they can increase their income from your visit. The best chiropractors that I've ever seen know what they are doing and can effectively treat a patient without all of the additional expenses. The next day, I traveled to my previous chiropractor and asked it insurance rules have changed to require an x-ray prior to an adjustment and they confirmed that the rules have not changed and followed-up with an excellent adjustment, as usual. Beware of chiropractic practitioners that like to "pad the bill" for their own gain!

This facility follows all CDC recommendations for the Covid-19 protocols and there is never any overcrowding. 14 weeks later (July 6th) I had my post-op recheck appointment. I was cleared for physical therapy. I walked in afraid, and not knowing what to expect. Jack greeted me at the door with a smile. I was at an All time emotional LOW ( I cried everyday for 3 months) but after 1 visit Jack managed to turn my self-pity into enthusiasm. Jack Explained the Titanium hardware in my foot and our treatment plan goals. Jack said he would contact Dr. Johanesmeyer and collectively work on getting me back on track with my displaced pilon fracture of the right Tibia as well as my multiple broken leg bones. Moving forward, week 17 Jack and I are currently working on ROM, Proprioception, Modalities, and HEP. I am still suffering from pain, swelling, and bruising during each PT session. I am only taking Gabapentin for my burning, tingling, ice picks, sciatic pain and general nerve pain. Jack has provided me with a link to an APP called "Medbridge Go" . This APP allows me to set reminders of my daily exercises while monitoring my progress. My current exercises are Seated Ankle Plantarflexion with resistance, Long sitting Ankle Dorsiflexion with anchored resistance and finally the long sitting Ankle Eversion with resistance. He works hard to strengthen my ankle while taking the time to ask me questions in regards to your pain levels and to address all of my concerns. We have gone from 15lb kettle balls to 20lb and now 25lbs while engaging in ankle lifts. Jack is a Wonderful Young Man! Whatever he's being paid, it should be doubled. He has taught me that dealing with this injury is all about my attitude towards it and that positive thinking will put me on the fast track to a long term and safe recovery. I am looking forward to recovering from this injury, regaining my mobility and getting on with the rest of my life through Jack's treatment plan. Jack managed my care from listening attentively to my concerns, answering all my questions and arranging a program which succeeded in getting me back on the golf course. Amanda who scheduled my appointments worked with my calendar for convenient times. My husband has also been a patient at Joints In Motion - three different times including a knee replacement. Mike told me I had to talk to LeeAnne. LeeAnne told me I had to talk to Mike. This went back and forth. No one ever called back. I was told I couldn't schedule an appointment because too much time passed now that it went beyond 30 days. I had to go back to my orthopedic doctor to get a new script. I called again and told they are too busy and I'd have to wait for Mike to call me back again. I explained I got isnt wait any longer and Hanna recommended I go to another physical therapist even though I had been here and my therapist left the company. Now I am forced to start all over again??? I told her I'd share my experience on Yelp and she said, "okay, I don't know you. I can't help you so do what you need to do!" Terrible response!!! This shows me how little they care about their patients! I guess business must be too good that they simply don't return calls and turn away patients in the middle of treatment!!!
