Before scheduling, I was told my records needed to be reviewed first, which I understood and sent over. I initially misspelled the email address but corrected it shortly after. During my follow-up phone call with Stacey, I was trying to better understand why I was being referred elsewhere instead of scheduling directly for imaging. Unfortunately, the conversation became unnecessarily tense and dismissive. I felt spoken to in a passive-aggressive and condescending manner while asking questions about the process. I understand medical offices are busy and stressful environments, but professionalism and patience matter, especially when patients are already confused or dealing with health concerns. People make mistakes, ask questions, and need clarification. The way staff communicate can greatly impact someone's experience. I hope the practice takes patient communication seriously moving forward, because no patient should leave a call feeling belittled for trying to understand their care process.

His staff is friendly, compassionate, and will go the extra mile to assist you with all of your needs and concerns. After my visit to the emergency room, I made an appointment to see Dr. Johanesmeyer. He saw my X-Rays and we discussed his plan of action has including Ankle repair surgery, fitting me with splints, boots, and physical therapy. I have been prescribed pain medication to hold me over until the surgery. He did advice that due to my multiple broken bones, i will experience arthritis. 3/29 @ 6am I underwent Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) is a type of surgery used to stabilize and heal a broken bones. In my case, I had 6 plus broken bones. 2 weeks later I had my post-op appointment. X-rays were taken and I waited for the doctor. Upon removal of my cast and bandages We discovered extensive swelling along with monstrous looking fracture blisters. I was in total shock. Dr. Johanesmeyer Explained to me what fracture blisters were and how to treat them. He also Explained the Titanium hardware in my foot ( I nearly fainted). He went over the process of the surgery along with the incisions he made around the fracture blisters and why. My stitches are neat, and the incisions were all in straight lines. I must say he did a wonderful job. Dr.Johanesmeyer advised me to return in a week to see if the swelling goes down enough to remove the stitches and fit me for a stabilizing boot. He also provided me with pain medication and Gabapentin for my burning, tingling, ice picks, and cold nerve pain. 1.) Office Staff : 5 2.) Location: 5 3.) I am looking forward to recovering from this injury and getting on with the rest of my life through Dr.Johanesmeyer treatment plan. It is off University Blvd. This location is right off of the 205B exit on I-26. On the first day, I had an assessment. Megan, the person I worked with, put me through many different tests and asked me how dizzy or off balanced these tests made me feel. She also was checking my heart rate a lot. She asked me many questions about my symptoms, and asked what the doctors have been saying. She seemed to genuinely want to help me. We scheduled 5 future appointments that first day. It's nice to be able to plan in advance. They are open Monday-Friday. So no weekend appointments. Every appointment, Megan would give me homework to do. This would consist of different exercises. Some were like workouts at the gym, others were more like just turning your head side to side while you stand like you're on a balance beam (but you're not) - this was hard for me. They have this big machine there that's pretty cool. You stand in it and it tests your balance. They go through a few different tests, some where the ground you stand on moves, others where the walls move, etc. At the end, the results tell you how off balanced you are, which way you lean, and how you compare to others. Overall, this was a good experience. It's a lot like physical therapy but for people who are off balanced. I loved my physical therapist. She was so nice and caring. I would highly recommend this place.

I wish I had taken a picture of my medical issue to prove that I'm not k talking as an infomercial. I was diagnosed with Achilles tendinitis on both feet. This is where an excessive bump builds up by the ankles or on the back of the heel. My doctor sent me to a podiatrist and they scheduled me for surgery. With this surgery, I wouldn't be able to drive for 6 months & they would do one foot and then the other. That's a whole year depending on someone to drive me around. I spoke with Dr. Yaden and he asked me to postpone the surgery and try the Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) to remove the Achilles tendinitis. I was skeptical at first but agreed. My surgery was scheduled for October 21 & today, with the use of PEMF, those bumps are so small and I can wear shoes instead of mules all the time. Dr. Yaden is a great doctor that seeks ways to minimize invasive surgery and uses multiple devices to help alleviate your pain & focus on the things you enjoyed doing.

From the moment I walked into my last visit, I was always made to feel welcome, they were always on time, and we came up with a plan to address my specific needs. We would review and measure progress every several weeks and it was always a dialogue about whether the treatments and exercises were having the expected impact. From an administration perspective, communication was always good and I always knew what my copay was going to be. Making appointments were easy and they worked with you in case something came up. It's a little past 8:00 a.m. and I received super loose (almost non-existent) coaching from Diane today; I guess she expected me to have memorized all the new exercises/stretches and their reps from last time. Maybe it's just too early for both of us??!!? I generally like to try to have understanding about things and find plausible reasons for bs. However, when someone is getting paid to be a PT coach, that's exactly what they better be. The real bonus was using a ball with a couple of small spots of schmutz from someone else!! When I told Diane that the ball was dirty, she asked me to clean it. I then specified to her that it wasn't from me and she again actually asked ME to clean it!! Then, she added that SHE could clean it, with a gentle voice suggesting that she'd do me the "favor".......naaaah, too late for that......Cinderella PATIENT, here, had already been prodded and will go ahead and clean up the slop that I was told to tend to.....isn't that what insurance pays this joint for? This is not a community pitch-in or family; I'm a patient/client and these things are supposed to be clean for my use and everyone else's!! We were among the first very few patients for the day. Who knows how long that ball had been dirty like that. IT'S THEIR JOB AND RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP ALL THINGS IN THE FACILITY CLEAN!!! I didn't know that I had to earn my keep here and then some. It made being asked to sanitize--AS SOON AS I WALKED IN--an extra joke. I felt like she really couldn't be bothered with me and I would've been better off not being there. Maybe if I were just a tad more important than her folding towels and chit-chatting with another patient, perhaps I wouldn't feel like I had just entered the beginning stages of being some sort of red-headed stepchild.
