I live in another state and no immediate family lives near my brother, so I depend heavily on this facility to provide the care needed for my brother. I have always said that those working at this facility are "my heroes." My brother's medications were stabilized (in my opinion) through the care of this facility, which has been a huge accomplishment. I've never heard my brother express happiness (due in part to his mental condition), but this past weekend he expressed that though he was in pain at times physically, he was HAPPY! I credit this ALL to the care my brother receives on a daily basis. Nearly everyone that works at Crystal Heights has come to understand how best to handle my loved one that produces the best results. It cannot be easy for them on some days because I know my brother.
