Was referred to mr kidwell by a friend who had a tax return prepared by him. These folks were not…read morebusiness owners. Mr Kidwell did not seem familiar with the IRS tax laws regarding business losses. He informed me that the previous year's tax preparer had misinformed me and did not properly prepare my return. He became very defensive when I questioned his knowledge on the subject. Was quite hostile so when I objected to his behavior, he said I could "take my things and leave". Subsequent to this, I consulted with 2 CPA's recommended by business owners. As well as 2 business owners who are friends and neighbors. When presented with the same questions, I was informed that I was correct and therefore Mr Kidwell was not knowledgeable regarding this area of tax law. I believe this is what provoked such a negative experience in the first place. I would not recommend this firm.
