Then in March, 2024, We had 11 windows installed. So far we are happy with the windows but not happy with how this different crew of 3, left a sloppy job. By the time they left it was dark. The next day, I noticed numerous handprints on the window panes. The worst part was finding black slightly greasy fingerprints on the outside window framing. That really took some scrubbing to get it off. They need to make a better selection in contracting these jobs out. Very disappointing on the 2nd crew.

Instead of making it clear up front that they do not work on older houses.. My house was built in 1941. Sanford & Hawley replaced my front door on my house in 2013/14. I contacted them in 2026, and I had been in contact with their representative about door type. I went through all of this effort to choose a door, then I was asked what year is my house? I stated it was built in 1941. They don't work on houses built before 1978. I am done with Sanford & Hawley.
