When you read the reviews here keep in mind that the Reillys sold the practice to the current owners. So notice the older wonderful reviews belong to the Reillys. The current reviews do not. The current owners do not stack up to those older reviews. They don't care and they have a remodel and lots of tech to pay for. The hygienists have been good but the actual docs should take a class on people and professional skills. I've noticed that since the transfer of ownership there is a decent turnover on hygienists - red flag right there. The Reillys were wonderful! I saw the Reilly's before they sold the practice and agree that they were great. However, since then, I have also seen both Dr. Vakharia and Dr. Isbell and they were equally great. I recently lost a crown (done many years ago by a different dental practice) late on a Saturday night while packing to leave town the next morning for a week-long vacation. I called the office number (knowing it was closed) and left a message. Almost immediately, I received a text from Dr. Vakharia - even though it was late Saturday night! We exchanged texts until I was comfortable with options and how to care for my tooth until we could get home and get the crown reinstalled. He even called in prescriptions with a rush order in case they were needed while I was out of state. While we were traveling, he texted to see how I was doing. I was grateful and impressed with his caring. I'm moving the rest of my family to the practice. read more

6months ago I visited this office for a cleaning and to begin a treatment plan. I was excited - the Reilly's came recommended from people I knew, the reviews showed care, and my husband having gone first reported a positive experience. I had fallen off regular treatment and with the pandemic I fell further behind, so I knew I would be in for some work. However what I didn't expect was that treatment bringing further troubles, new issues (clenching/lack of sleep/headaches) and now a hefty price to re-do the work. I saw the newly hired dentist Dr. Vakharia. During my visits this dentist showed very little care for me, my comfort or my treatment. At one point while drilling happily away while my hand raised to stop he chastised me that I should just breathe through my nose. I had to remind him there was a human at the other end of the tooth. Every interaction I had with him was unpleasant, the staff was nervous around him, and he seemed to solely care about how fast he could get in and out of the room. When I let them know about the crown he placed being highly uncomfortable I was brought back in for a visit. Dr. Vakharia asked me what was wrong then while I was explaining, cut me off speaking over me and declaring it "perfect". He promptly left the room and the assistant handed me a referral for an endodonist. I tried to power through my concern with him to get the filling I needed done on another tooth, but even that was clunky, painful and the work sloppy. I let the office know I was still having issues, asked if I could see a different dentist and they told me that the Reilly's were retiring to Hawaii so there wasn't another option. I have returned to my previous dentist in town, and have gratitude to have competent care. I have seen an endodist (with no root canal indicated- more money spent), consulted on my crown that is still causing daily discomfort, and in the end going to have to redo the work and replace the crown. I am now going to have to shell out $2000+ because Dr. Vakharia declared his work "perfect" and the office told me he was my only option. Be warned. We were very pleased with Reilly Dental. After going somewhere else, we got a 2nd opinion and they offered a free evaluation and were told there would be no charges unless we approved of them. My 9 yr old daughter was about to have some fillings done due to the first dentist recommendation but after the evaluation, she determined that the fillings were not a good idea and pulling her baby teeth were the best option. She had laughing gas and it went very well and she is running around with no issues and very happy she had no pain from the cavity. Thank you Reilly for the great work. read more

Horrible front staff. Called four times over a few weeks to speak with doctor. Still no call back!! They were rude and laughing at me. I have horrible gum pain and wasn't notified of reopening from covid. I was sick late February...... Possibly covid and had to cancel my cleaning. I have to have at least two cleaning a year bc of my gum problem. I couldn't rebook bc of covid. They then booked up through September. I asked to speak to doctor. No call back. I asked three more times on diff occasions. No call back. They try to sell you their own Reilly plan rather then inform you of amazing better insurance plans easy to get that would cover more. There r not enuf superlatives to describe this dental practice. Honest, Comforting, Super Friendly, Family oriented, Detailed oriented, skilled, knowledgeable, Patient, trustworthy, clean facility, up to date equipment and informed /educated about the most up to date dental advances. You'll only hear the truth from them. You really do feel like they have your best interest, unlike other dentists I've been to where they were pushing more expensive treatments or procedures that I didn't feel I needed. I have never been good at going to the dentist regularly mainly because of bad experiences as a child. I first came here to Reilly Dental for a dental emergency. I had gone to 2 dentists before and even had a major procedure scheduled but didn't feel comfortable with the dentist in another city and cancelled it, seeking a 2nd opinion. When Dr Tom and his wife heard what happened they couldn't understand the other dentists evaluation. They recommended something else, something less drastic and less expensive. In the end I did what they suggested and it turned out fine and that was all I needed. I like that Dr Tom always answers my plethora of questions, keeps me informed during the whole time, shows me pictures before and after of his work, his front staff are super friendly and kind, and they r upfront with the cost so you aren't surprised by the bill. Also like that they try their darnedest to fit you in somewhere if it's an emergency. Thank you! Great practice. I hope when they expand they don't lose that special one-on-one caring family experience so many have come to know. You get the feeling that everyone (from the front desk, appt person, billing person, hygienist, dental asst etc) who works there wants to be there and do a good job for this practice. You know you have a good thing when I don't really want everyone to know about this dental practice so it doesn't get sooo busy that you can't get an appt for months. You just want to keep this a secret basically but ..... Yep I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and definitely will come back. read more

When I first went in I saw the male doctor. He was awesome. Everyone in the whole place is amazingly sweet and nice. My problem was with going to the female doctor. She would say she understood what I wanted but then do something different. I wanted enough space between my teeth to be able to floss. SHE said I did not need that and refused to do so. Result? My floss broke and cut my gums when I tried to floss. She did not file down the edges of my filling she put in on the front tooth so my floss caught on it and flipped the filling out. She had *reasons* for everything I did not like. She said she would fix the problems she caused but, she only scheduled me for teeth cleanings and never did anything to fix the mess. I tried working with the office and even ask to go back to the male doctor. What I got were more appointments for teeth cleanings. Don't get me wrong she is very NICE. It is just that my words seemed to have no value to her. read more

I have been going here for a few years now and couldn't imagine having a better experience anywhere else. I have severe dental anxiety and let them know that up front. They have always made me feel extremely relaxed and comfortable. I have had fillings done there and have always had a good experience. The new building is beautiful. Everything is new and state of the art. Both of the dentists are the NICEST people I have ever met. The staff in general is friendly and helpful. BE CAREFUL!! This practice told me a price for work that I was going to have done according to what my insurance would cover. They NEVER actually checked with my insurance. They told me the price was around $100 which I paid that day. Afterward they said, "You maxed out your benefits so now you owe us $550" even though THEY made the mistake. They gave me a "courtesy" discount of a whopping $50. This is EXTREMELY poor business, especially because if they had checked with my insurance I would have waited to do the work. read more

Zero grace shown by the front office if you're running late for an appointment. Because traffic in Atlanta is never a problem, right. I took the afternoon off to take my 5 year old in for a cleaning. I screwed up and thought the appt was 330. They called at 310 and said the appt was at 300. I told them I was on the way but they didn't budge. Thanks a lot. I attempted to make an appointment over the phone, but just got an answering machine. So I went to their website and made an appointment. Okay - that was fine. I received a response within a day or two. I get multiple text massage reminders of my appointment asking to confirm and I do. Cool - I like reminders. The time comes to go to my appointment. I leave my house 1/2 an hour before the appointment - I live 9 minutes from the address listed on yelp. I pull up to an empty office building with a sign saying "We've moved (finally). Our new address is 850...." Okay - I have some time to get to the new location, it's right up the street. I arrive to the "new" location and IT'S UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! :( No one there but construction workers. So with 5 minutes to spare I call their office. And surprise - just an answering machine that goes on and on and even includes that they'll be at their new location on 1/25 - the day of my appointment. Without anything else I could do, I left a message explaining my situation then I replied to the appointment email I received from them. It's the end of day on 1/26 and still no call, no response to my email. Never again with this dental office. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of communication and organization. read more

I've used Reilly for 10 years now for the entire family. They are a true family business and their entire staff treat you like part of their family. I hear stories all the time about dentists that want to do every procedure possible in order to pay for all of the gadgets they have. At Reilly they have all the latest technology, but they never pressure you. Case in point, I have been going for years and Dr. Reilly would always mention that as long as my old silver filings were not bothering me, he was going to leave them alone. Well, today I had a cleaning and had let them know that one of my filings was causing a little pain. He examined me today and said that we should probably replace that filing when I was ready, and that he had the time then, but it was totally up to me. I have been a patient at Reilly Dental for 2yrs, and I have always had great service. But when I needed a dentist for my 4yr old daughter, I thought a pediatric dentist would be the way to go. After a severely traumatic experience at the pediatric place , the mention of the word dentist would automatically result in tears. I took my daughter to Reilly dental and though the first part of the visit my daughter was petrified, the entire staff was so patient and caring enough to take the time to allow her calm down and assure her that there was nothing to be afraid of. By the end of the visit, she was all smiles with her toys from the treasure chest, and she told all her friends that the Dentist is fun!
