I've had back pain for over a month with no relief from my chiropractor, muscle relaxers, etc…read more.. one visit to Ganna and I feel so much better, no pain! She is very talented, quite knowledgeable, and very generous with her knowledge. She shared many ideas and stretches for me to do at home. I look forward to my next massage, I highly recommend Ganna and Moment of Peace.

Moment of Peace is just that, an amazing Moment of Peace. Brandi has created a wonderful experience…read morefor any and all that are in, near, or around Fuquay-Varina area. The location has private parking in a safe environment. Once you enter the building, you are sure to be greeted either by Brandi herself (who will, more than likely, greet you by name), your massage therapist (same), or both! Such a warming and professional environment. Upon entering you're Peace begins with a soothing, sensory opening, essential oil scented warm towel to use on your face, neck, arms, hands, whatever you'd like. I personally lay it over my face like a picnic blanket and take slow, deep breaths before wiping my face and neck. Now, your journey is ready to begin. Moment of Peace has a quiet interior. The individual rooms (where the magic happens) are dimly lit, creating a calm, relaxing environment. Upon selecting your therapist online, by phone, or in-person, you will also have add-on options. I use this option for one of their specialized massage oils. Your specialized massage therapist will close the door, and the two of you will begin communicating, getting to know why you joined them on that day. They really listen and pay a great deal of attention to you. Once you've expressed yourself and they grasp a concensus of how to bring you peace and address your concerns, they give you time to undress and lay under the sheet & blanket on the table before knocking and rejoining you. I will stop here because from here, your own story begins. Moment of Peace will continue to be my sanctuary, and I can not say thank you enough to the kind, wonderful souls that I have had the pleasure of meeting here.

I booked a "Therapeutic Table Massage" with Shannon Trudeau and had a very traumatic experience…read more When I arrived I explained to her I like firm pressure and was having issues with my shoulders and neck and upper back being very tight and I would like to primarily focus on those areas. The first 30 minutes of my massage were her guiding some sort of yoga nidra exercise with no actual massaging. I had to ask her when the massage would actually start. She seemed to have a huge ego about the request and continued her guided exercise. Once she did start "massaging" me, it was just her placing her hands on my body very lightly and doing static holds on trigger points. I explained to her I would Like more muscle stimulation in the form of a faster deeper massage but she didn't listen to my requests and kept doing the things she was doing that I did not ask for. She didn't pay attention tho the specific areas that I came in to address and spent most of the time on my arms and legs. She talked the majority of the massage and kept instructing me to take deep breaths. I do not come in to this for a therapy session which is what it felt like. The table was cold and so was the room. I had to ask her to turn the heat on the table mid session because I was freezing and her hands were freezing. She did not seem to have any knowledge of anatomy, massage, or draping. After the session was over she sat me down and wanted to go over her "findings" and it felt really uncomfortable having someone tell me all the areas in my body she noticed I was tight but not actually using the time I paid for to resolve any of those issues. I did not book a trigger point massage, a reiki session, or a therapy session. I mentioned to her multiple times I was not wanting the type of "massage" she gave me and she said that "energetically we may not be a good fit" - in my option this is such a rude thing to say to someone who was very clear about the massage I wanted to receive and requested it multiple times only to be completely ignored - probably because this person is not educated enough or capable of doing actual massage. This practitioner is borderline harmful and should not be practicing any healing modality. I felt disgusting after leaving her session. I felt completely ignored and judged. I debated weather or not I should leave this review but after experiencing this I wanted other people to know the potential harms of booking with this practitioner. Please remove her from "therapeutic table massage" because she didn't actually massage me and this is really misleading for customers.
