All the employees here are friendly and very talented at what they do. I always get the Sunkist special pedicure and it is always perfect for a pick me when I'm feeling down. Poor service. My daughter and I were quite excited about going to get a Pedi and manicure together here but we were both disappointed with the results and the treatment from the staff. The manager was very pushy about the tip we should give the staff but the amount I give depends on the results and effort given. My pedicure was worthless. I paid for the #2 treatment but was given less than the #1 treatment. We will never go back! read more

The first time I came here I was very impressed with the service. Unfortunately my puppy ruined my pedicure and I had to come back an hour later for a quick fix on one of my toes. At that moment I did feel rushed and it looked very bad even after the fix. But after trying a different salon in Amarillo (where I got a toe infection from poor sanitation) I decided to give this place another try. Here I am on a Tuesday morning and very impressed again. My nail technician, a younger man with long swoopy hair (Alvin) is working hard on my nails and taking his time. He's been very attentive and not rushing at all! I am THE single most ticklish person on the planet but he helped my patiently with my feet. Trust me it isn't easy. This will be my new regular place. For the #2 pedicure you get very good nail and cuticle work, a massage, hot towels, wax wrap, and polish. Worth the 30$! Not sure if they are just like other salons here with complimentary margaritas, seeing as I am here at 10 am, but they do offer drinks. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for the past year and have tipped very well and spent usually around $100 per visit. The last set I got didn't last a day. I went back once to get it fixed (because I reached into my pocket) and the next day 2 more nails broke just by pulling my pants on. One caused damage to my natural nail and I was told I had to wait 5 more days to even get it fixed. I asked if he could replace the set or give me a discount on the next since I had to wear messed up nails for a week. When I went back he told me I couldn't get them replaced only the one nail. Mind you it's been a week and half at this point because of the holidays. I don't recommend and I won't go back. I feel like if you spend money on a service you should get quality product and/or quality service. I got neither. The man started raising his voice to me telling me he wouldn't fix the problem even though the nails that I paid for were obviously poor quality. Furthermore I was about to spend more money there on another service. I was simply asking them to make it right something that was done wrong. read more

I have been going here for years. They are very good but in the last year their service has become terrible. I went in yesterday, got the dip like I do every time and within two hours one was already broken because they are so thin. I went back today to have them fix it (mind you it's one nail) and they told me I would have to wait an hour. I don't live in Amarillo and will now be going home with a broken nail because they wouldn't take 5 minutes to fix it. read more

I took my 6 year old granddaughter for mani. 6 year old treated very well. Halfway thru my mani I had to pay our bill before lady would continue. Everyone else paid before they left. When it was time to dry our polish we were put under liter for over an hour. TOTALLY IGNORED. When I flagged someone down they said another 15 minutes half hour after that we left no one ever checked on us in an hour and half. read more

Been coming to this salon for years. Starting in January the service started to become horrible. The last few times I've gone, they've cut me with tools, and tried to say the fresh wound was there before. I felt unheard when I told the lady at the desk my concerns and how I wasn't 100 percent satisfied, and was told she just wasn't having a good day. They went up on their prices, and down on their customer service skills. I don't come to salon all dressed up, and makeup done. Today was the worse I have ever been treated. I did a deluxe spa pedicure, and my father just a basic spa pedi. My water was warm, and I asked for it to be warmer, nothing, my hot towels that came out steaming, she aired them out so much they were just warm. She rubbed one of my legs with hot stones for around 15, and maybe 5 the other leg. Also barely even scrubbed my foot with a pumice, so I still have lots of dry skin left. She also wiped all of the lotion off off my legs after she rubbed them in. She didn't try to talk to me, anytime I'd say something, I'd get an eye roll. She's finally done, and doesn't even have me sit there for my polish to dry. Told me I was done and to get up. She was so ready for me to go, before I even have a chance to say something she hands me my purse. Then notices I have a Michael Kors purse, her whole demeanor changed towards me, trying to be nice. The fact I was judged and got horrible experience because of the way I was dressed, I will never step foot in this salon. I don't care for my money back, it's just money. But ugly customer service is a big no go. I go there to relax and escape from life for a bit, I shouldn't be made felt so uncomfortable the entire time. Such a shame, this place used to be so amazing and they used to have such a caring staff. I used to recommend everyone to go here, not anymore. read more

I've been going here for about 6 or 8 months. The last 3 times I've have had the SNS dip done there, they have done a horrible job. Today they soaked off the old dip and ripped one of my nails down to the fingertip. My nails have been real long since I have gone there. Instead of putting a tip on(after I told her not to take length off) she proceeded to chop them all off! I'm absolutely furious that she ignored my request. Last time they made them too thick.(they ignored my request on this visit also) I'm done. Not going back. I shouldn't have to be mean to get them to listen!! read more

Very disappointed. I haven't had my nails done in many years, so I was unfamiliar with the types offered (gel, dip). When trying to decide what I wanted, I could tell the employees were getting frustrated. I finally decided to just have a manicure because my cuticles were in such bad shape. I could immediately tell that this was not a popular decision, possibly because it's a lower ticket item. Several of them began talking their native language with the word "manicure" occurring about every 5th word. Needless to say, I felt very uncomfortable. The manicure was rushed. I wasn't given an opportunity to get my payment, phone or anything I needed from my purse before polish. Consequently, I left with one nail already smudged. Maybe they didn't care to have my business, but my husband and I get regular pedicures. I won't be back. read more

I have been going to Relax Nails for quite some time now. I always make an appointment, but that doesn't ever seem to help. I always have to wait for my tech & she constantly gets up & takes off doing other things in the salon or is on her phone. This last Friday I had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time & I would have definitely walked out if I didn't have my mom with me because she has a hard time getting around. The pedicure I received Friday was the WORST I've ever had done. My feet were more dry & rough than before I went in. Do not step foot into this nail salon! The male manager, don't know his name, he refused to give it to me, verbally abused my daughter. Yelled at her in front of the entire salon to leave and don't come back because she complained about bad service. She brought in a picture and gave them clear instructions as to what she wanted. The technician was rude, hurt her, never talked to her during the entire service, would not ask during the service if what he was doing was correct or what she wanted. She was in tears while checking out. The girl checking her out asked if everything was ok, and my daughter said no, it was horrible. She offered to 'fix' them then, but my daughter had to leave for work. She said would come back the next day to fix the nails. She made an appointment with a good technician she's had before who did fix them. But when she asked for a refund for the first $32 service, the manager became abusive. I called and at first they said, "He don't want to talk to you." Then he yelled at me on the phone and wouldn't listen to a word I said. I would drive to Lubbock before going back here! read more
