Very disappointed. Thick and uneven dip as well as just an overall sloppy finish. My nails chipped in less than a week.

After a few bad experiences in this town with icky nail salons that were recommended to me by acquaintances , I consulted Yelp for a well reviewed nail salon, and decided to give Nu Day a try. I showed up at opening time and they got me right in, and were very friendly. But most importantly, they were clean and sanitary, with sanitized implements. Kim did a wonderful job and made sure I was happy. I felt like she was efficient, not rushing, not lingering- just right. I will go back. Apparently many other people are onto this place as well, because by the time I left, they were super crowded. read more

I needed a pedicure on Sunday so gave this place a try. Very clean, relatively busy, but I sat in the chair quickly. Conscientious nail tech did a great job. Pedicure lasted a long time...even after I tripped and drug them on the pavement. Yikes. read more

I recommend this nail shop because it was very clean! I feel like sometimes it's difficult to find sanitary nail salons so I was very happy with that! I only got a pedicure so I cannot speak on the manicure service. The pedicure was very reasonably priced compared to what I normally pay at other salons, I did get gel polish on my toes which was an extra $20 added onto the service (I feel like that's a little above standard) but because the pedicure was more reasonable it evened out. Overall I was satisfied and compared to other shops in Amarillo I feel like this one is by far the best! My only complaint was the front desk employee was rude, that's why I left 4 stars. She was the one who checked us in and out and the customer service was just not there, the employees doing the actual service were very kind though! read more

I have gone to this salon for months to do my nails, I always have an appointment as well. I am currently in a foot/lower leg cast and went in at 5 for my appointment, upon arrival a woman informed me it would be an additional 30 minute wait even though I had an appointment , and that i needed to go sit and wait. that's difficult for me the up and down only being able to put weight on one leg. I decided to go somewhere else and will not be back. If you depend on a wheelchair, knee scooter, walker, etc be careful because they do Not think about how inconvenient it is for someone that has limited mobility. Also the woman's attitude was extremely negative and she made me feel like a burden, and that is the factor that made me decide to go elsewhere. read more

The lady working the front counter/reception is awful! Refuses to allow appointments before an hour AFTER they open, doesn't accommodate requests on a first come/first serve basis and is incredibly rude. I was the first customer in the salon and requested Tracy, whom I absolutely love. I said I'd be happy to wait for her but was told someone else, behind me, requested her, yet I was first and this was before any scheduled appointment. every visit leaves me tempted to find a new place to have my nails done.
