During the years I've been an ITM client, I've been with three masseuses, Emma & Ling (both have now moved on to other business opportunities that I know they'll be successful at) and now, I'm with Lina who's absolutely wonderful with her caring attitude and excellent massage technique. All three have provided me with some of the absolute best deep tissue massages I've ever had as the end results have been a notable increase in my flexibility and greatly reduced osteoarthritis pain and stiffness. Upon entering the spa lobby, guests are welcomed by a large freshwater fish tank. Inside the nicely appointed and clean spa, soft and relaxing music enhances the calm and inviting atmosphere. The massage area has six private massage rooms as well as several foot massage chairs/couches with curtains. Additionally, there is a unisex bathroom which is always very neat and clean. Lastly, when checking out, each customer is offered a nice cool and refreshing bottle of water. I'm grateful to Sophie and her wonderful staff (thank you Lina!) for the excellent care they've provided me and for the friendships I've made as well. I'm over 80 years old and visit Da Tang two to three times a month, some times four and the staff there is excellent. They are experts at their trade and exceptionally courteous and friendly. Their rates are very reasonable and they offer a wide variety of treatments. I just tell them where it hurts and they attack it with professional vigor. As others have mentioned, the foot massage is a traditional reflexology massage, which means they will soak your feet in a tub of hot water while they do a fairly brief full body massage with your clothes on, in a room where others can also be massaged. If you are looking for a full day spa experience, you should probably look elsewhere. The body massages are more of a traditional massage, where you go into a private room and remove your shirt. There was also a few minutes of hot stone. Now that I have found this place, I know that I will be coming back - especially since they have a punch card where the 10times for detox foot free! I finally called in yesterday to see if they take walk ins, and they do. I made my way there and arrived shortly before 6 pm. The lady I spoke with over the phone said they no longer offered the specials posted on Yelp, but she did offer to add in hot stones for me, no charge (since I'm a new client). Upon arrival, no one was at the desk, but she quickly came down the hall and greeted me. I was looking for a cross between deep tissue and Swedish. She said the Swedish massage is meant to be relaxing and that if I wanted my knots out, she recommended the deep tissue. I've had both before, but nowadays I tend to lean towards a medium pressure massage. I chose the deep tissue. I was then led to room 3, which was clean and ready for me. I did have to use the restroom before we got started and I'm glad to say the restroom is clean! I went back to the room and went commando!! LOL A different lady came in and started warming me up over the thin sheet that I crawled under. You'll start face down on the massage table and then end up laying on your back. As far as the massage, she didn't do a bad job, but it also wasn't the best I've had. My trouble spots are my left shoulder and neck areas. I have knots in those places 24/7. While the pressure was okay, I would have liked it a bit deeper. Overall though, it wasn't bad. I did walk away feeling refreshed, but my knots remain. =/ I dropped a star because the deep tissue wasn't as "deep" to me. The walls are also thin, so whenever someone walked in, you could hear the lady greet them loud and clear. Also, you have to "prepay to play!" You pay upfront before you get the massage, and there's a $2 fee if you pay by card. Then, if you don't carry cash like me, you can tip by card after your massage, but they won't charge you the $2 fee, so there's that. This is the first place I've been to in AZ for a massage. I'll have to explore other options, but this place wasn't all that bad.

The owner of her building emails me asking why I reported it and how this affects his business and all this other stuff that doesn't matter to me as a patient using HSA. So, I tell him to lay off me and stop being awful and unorganized business owner because how was I supposed to know his and Mary Anne's grift? How was I supposed to know the bill would come from him? If I had known I would not have booked because my insurance pays for my massage because I have a medical issue not because I'm gaming the system.
