I was there today, Tuesday 24 September 2025 in order to purchase a charger for my phone. Around 6pm or so. I was browsing at my leisure for perhaps a few other items when the Indian woman behind the counter went all hyper!!! She demanded to know ..'How can I help you'? She was breathing heavily and tense. Seemed afraid and in a hurry to hear me talk and to get me the heck out of there. Nervous. I am a teacher, dressed properly and clean. Travelling through. She needs to learn proper customer service , here in NZ...might be different in India. But we are not in India and I found her manner really annoying. A NZ man was kindly explaining how an electronic item worked and this woman with her green fingernails leaned in and fussed and interrupted and ...well let's just say...she was very nervous and wanted me OUT of the store.. she also smelled very strongly of some sort of fragrance, perhaps sandalwood and it was just as overpowering as she was! Back off. Learn some customer service skills ...and be discerning. Not all of us want to rob the store!! Geeze. Her English was not good either, very thickly accented. That didn't help at all. And I needed to look through my bag for my purse and told her that. So I moved a bit to the side. She shrieked..'Nooo..u have to PAY for that'! Seriously? ComeON read more
