I have a very low pain tolerance, yet Huy is extremelyyy patient and encouraging to motivate and guide me through all the exercises to make sure I'm reaching the necessary intensity and milestones for my recovery journey within a safe measure. They also have other assistants helping out during the exercises and all of them are very kind. Their positive environment makes my whole physical therapy journey a lot more tolerable and somewhat enjoyable. I'm always looking forward to my sessions there.

He showed me what he thought were the root issues, without having an MRI and sent me through a litany of exercises to work on the problem. Then had a print out with everything I did to continue working on, and what to expect. He was kind, attentive and I left feeling very positive. I've been to a physical therapist before several years ago, and while that was also a positive experience; in comparison, I feel like Andy had more anatomical knowledge and experience.

This pertains to an unfortunate encounter with a staff member on Thursday, September 20, 2024, specifically with a therapist named "Alek or Alexis." It is important to note that the front desk staff were present during my visit and were aware of the comments made. Upon my return to address the situation, one of the staff members promptly defended him. The individual receiving treatment is my mother, who was referred for physical therapy by her physician. Initially, we had the pleasure of working with a therapist named "Victoria", who was outstanding--professional, empathetic, and highly skilled. She inspired hope in us, and we eagerly anticipated our sessions. Regrettably, she has since departed. Subsequently, we began sessions with Alek, who, from the very beginning, made several discouraging comments, including: 1. Questioning our presence in therapy. 2. Indicating that my mother's evaluation suggested she was unlikely to improve, thereby questioning our reasons for attending. 3. Stating that this is not a gym for entertainment, implying that if we wanted that, we could go to a gym, and making remarks about individuals attempting to exploit the system for no valid reason. I was taken aback by his rudeness, as it felt as though he was accusing us of dishonesty and trying to take advantage of the system. I was shocked that he spent the entire hour of our first interaction merely reiterating why we were there. It felt as though he was suggesting we should leave. Engaging with him became increasingly intimidating, as he made me feel like a liar and that we had no right to be there. The reality is that he seemed disinterested in working with my mother, preferring instead to handle only straightforward cases where he could simply direct patients without much effort. 4. He indicated that if we did not attend sessions at least twice a week, we would face removal from the program, a statement the front desk staff later clarified as inaccurate. 5. In the second session, he made an inappropriate remark regarding my mother taking an extended time in the restroom, plus he mentioned that she likes to talk suggesting that she was doing that to avoid exercising. I would like to respond to that by saying that if he truly possessed the experience he claimed, he should know how to gently and respectfully redirect her conversation to encourage her to continue exercising as she is a senior person. 6. He stated that he found it challenging to work with her due to her slower pace compared to other seniors, plus safety issue, suggesting he was overwhelmed with patients and needed to focus on those who could keep up. It seemed as though we were being encouraged to leave the office because of his reluctance to assist my mother, as he provided various justifications related to our attendance. I shared my work obligations and emphasized that I am her primary caregiver. After discussing with the front desk staff, I discovered that the assertions regarding removal from the program for missed sessions were baseless. We eventually scheduled appointment requesting another therapist who have experience and knowledge, not bothered by patient and select what he/she want. I never see such a thing, I even asked about such behavior, no one agreed. My advice if you want to work in a field in the medical industry you need to be patient and passionate, it is not all about money. It is important to address the front desk staff regarding the situation with Alex as they seemed to be defending him. It appears that rather than offering assistance, he was more focused on expelling us from the premises. We expect to be treated with respect as clients, especially in a business context. We are not here to deceive or seek entertainment; this experience has been quite disheartening and has left us in disbelief. It is truly unfortunate and disappointing.

Both ladies manage to combine a high level of professionalism and knowledge with very pleasant personalities. This has been the only P.T. facility that I've ever looked forward to going to sessions. While Amy and Sarah were my primary contacts here, ALL of the staff are very friendly. There is a lot of banter between staff that always keeps the clients entertained. And the staff at reception are no execption. I think that after my first appointment, I was always greeted by my first name, even before signing in. All of the ladies are almost always smiling. I almost want to reinjure myself just so I can go back again. ;-)

Though I liked my physical therapist very much, my bill of $1,905.00 for five visits was inconceivable. Of course my Insurance would not pay such a price gouge, so it was settled that I could pay out a much smaller portion monthly. My suggestion to anyone would be to ask ahead of time what the charges will be. Actually, I did ask but was simply told that only after all visits, there would be a bill sent. The office is friendly, and my PT was super nice and knowledgeable, but shame on this rehabilitation/ physical therapy office for charging $1905! He evaluated the injury (not too bad), treated with ultrasound and massage, and gave me stretches and exercises to do. All this for less than the price of a massage. When I continued following my training schedule, I still felt a little discomfort, so he continued the treatment and gave me some more strengthening exercises. After about a week all the discomfort was gone and I was able to resume normal training. I even set a PR at a corporate track meet this past weekend and on a half-marathon training run this morning, and feel in great shape for the upcoming marathon. I highly recommend Dr. Pham for sports injuries - he is knowledgeable, has all the equipment, is reasonably priced, and is a sports enthusiast himself.

I have worked with other therapists in the past and found that in a 1 hour appointment you may get 20 minutes of one on one time, if you are lucky, which can extend the healing process. Working with Meredith, I get her full attention for the hour and the convenience of her coming to my home. She has designed a unique daily exercise plan using what bands etc. I have so no need to spend additional money. I had never used "Cupping" but have found that it is helpful as part of my treatment and Meridith is very knowledgeable at using this method.
