DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We had a move scheduled for almost two months and Adam completely blew us off. They were supposed to arrive at 11:30am on the day of the move and I called him to get an ETA. When he didn't answer I sent him a text and he said maybe we can do it another day...R U KIDDING ME???!!! We had our entire house packed and ready to go. After telling me he would call his team and send me an ETA, we never heard back. We had to unpack enough things to stay in the house another night & luckily we were not under a 'must move out deadline' if that were the case I don't know what we would have done. At 4:00 that day, I called Two Men & A Truck and was able to schedule four guys for the following day. I would highly recommend the Two Men & A Truck team, they were fabulous. We were told by Adam our move would take about 2 1/2 - 3 hours with 3 guys. They showed up on time, however only 1 of them was experienced. The other 2 were not. It took them over an hour to load one dresser!! They didn't place enough carpet runners so our carpet was soiled. We were supposed to be out by 11, sadly, we weren't out until 2:00. And that's after I had to insist Adam to send another guy and another truck since they didn't bring a large enough one. Our buyers had to wait to move in. They also significantly damaged our walls. Adam promised to repair the damage, however, 3 weeks later he has not shown up and has given our buyers the run around. DO NOT use this company. read more

A NIGHTMARE. After TWO YEARS my patience is gone. They permanently damaged priceless things. All I asked was for them to repair three of the multiple things they broke. My 3 person team was Adam, his petite wife, & her equally small 50+ father. It took EIGHT HOURS to move a 1 bedroom apartment 1.4 miles & they didn't even finish. Adam looked at my storage unit, which was included in the quote, & laughed, "I don't have time to move all of that." Adam carried all furniture alone, bumping & DROPPING my antiques. The inside of the truck was a literal pile held together with bungee cords. I watched him carry in a table, stop & look at it, then walk away. It was broken into literal splinters! He decimated my enamel screen & shattered the glass door of my china cabinet. He snapped one of my rare antique tables in half & "LOST" the second one. They still refuse to compensate me. I told Adam to pick up stuff to repair whatever day/time worked for him. For months I'd take off work & wait; 6 or 7 times he cancelled at the last minute or just didn't show up. After a YEAR I finally got it back & it was in worse shape than ever! New marks, MOLD & water damage. And he had snapped the table in half AGAIN. This time I asked him to call me about the restorer before any work was done. I heard nothing for months & got no responses to texts. Finally Adam texted to say he was delivering my stuff. I asked why he hadn't called me with the restorer name. He looked away & said, "I'm not sure." The reason was he never took it to a restorer!. He just painted stain over the mold & did nothing to treat other places. He took a brown marker & superglue to a 19th century table then painted a blackish stain, nothing like the original color, over the wood & the metal finishes. A $500 table that's sentimentally priceless is permanently ruined. I refused to give things back & said I'd get them restored & send a bill. He refused to compensate me for repairs or the table he lost. It's upwards of 2k in damages. I told Adam if the company didn't pay me back would take them to court. He yelled at me & walked away. I've emailed & texted him to give one more chance & no response. Now I have to go through the trouble of a lawsuit. All I wanted was for them to fix what they broke & they were callous, irresponsible, unprofessional, & just a nightmare to deal with. read more

Excellent service! Adam and Jordan were quick and nothing was damaged. They were very professional and friendly. Adam walked me thru everything to expect on my phone consultation and that is exactly what was experienced. However, they did forget to bring the hanging clothes boxes. But we improvised. Otherwise, it was the best moving experience we had in ten years (5 moves). Therefore, we highly recommend Relief Moving Company as the BEST moving company in the twin cities. Hands down! The owner, Adam, is one of the hardest working human beings I've ever seen. He literally runs from the truck to get the next load. It's possible that he is superhuman. He and his wife (and his crew) were very friendly and efficient. And their price was very (VERY) competitive. Our move was at the beginning of May 2019. They did a full pack and move for us. I'm writing this about a month after, so we have had time to unpack everything. Nothing at all is broken, dented or scratched, everything went smoothly. I cannot recommend them enough. Never call this company. They were scheduled to move my client and didnt show up or bother to call. I started calling and texting 30 min into our scheduled time and 1 hour later the owner Adam called back with some excuse. Don't waste your time on this company. read more

Unreliable and the owner basically blew me off after committing to the job. Explained that he needed more money and was a jerk for a one hour project. Who turns down easy money - this guy apparently. Next company came in and was super professional and had it moved in no time. read more

I saw the only other review on here was bad which made me feel nervous but I was very pleased with my experience with this company. The movers were friendly and helpful and the price was fair. I would definitely use these guys again. read more
